CLIP DESCRIPTION:
A police officer is bribed to bring the remains of Chucky to an abandoned warehouse. Once there, he is killed by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), Chucky's former girlfriend.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
This horror film, directed by Ronnie Yu, marked a return (after an eight-year lapse) of Chucky and the Child's Play series that began in 1988. At the moment of his death, the spirit of former serial killer Charles Lee Ray was mystically relocated in the doll Chucky (voice of Brad Dourif). After being salvaged from the evidence morgue by his ex-girlfriend Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) and a corrupt cop, Chucky is put back in action when Tiffany sews his pieces back together and works a voodoo spell to revive his sinister self. Tiffany sees her dreams of marriage aren't working out, so she keeps Chucky locked away. After an escape, Chucky electrocutes Tiffany by pushing a radio into the bathtub, delivering a chant that puts the spirit of Tiffany into a bridal figurine. Chucky's amulet can switch them back into their original human forms, so they head for New Jersey where the amulet is buried -- putting cops in motion, along with car-crash carnage.

Same. Tiffany’s really well written and multi-layered. She’s a violent sociopath who will kill anyone in her way, but she’s also a hopeless romantic who is incredibly over sensitive and dreams of getting married. It’s interesting.

kaleb prinze Ive seen people say it in some discussion boards and comment sections. I think its the change in tone that doesn't set well with many fans. Bride of Chucky was a good blend of horror and comedy. Seed of Chucky leaned more towards comedy. I liked it. It was at least enjoyable.

Seeing Tiffany stand beside the police car at 2:00 in her black leather outfit reminds me of Lisa Dean standing beside the car in her black leather outfit when she was in Michael Jackson's music video Dirty Diana. And another similarity is that both scenes take place at night with a blue glow in the background, if I didn't know any better I'd say that's how they came up with the scene.

Bride of Chucky. People keep referencing this movie under videos from the band known as Blondie. Apparently it continued to make the popular song, "Call me" even more relevant. That's a nice thumbnail of Tiffany. I still find Jennifer Tilly to be attractive even if she's turning 60 this year. It sounds like they wanted to add in Tiffany to add another layer to the Chucky franchise after he went after Andy Barclay for 3 movies.

Curse of Chucky takes place after Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky since it is set in 2013. This was further confirmed in Cult of Chucky when Tiffany revealed that she was in Jennifer Tilly's body to Andy Barclay during a brief phone call between the two of them. The scene was added to Curse as an homage and reference to this film. Apparently it also showcased that Tiffany still gets turned on from slitting people's throats and tasting their blood. She added yet another level of insanity to the Chucky franchise.
