Man I just got into fishing, I live in Sioux Falls, glad I found your channel, you simplified it so much for me, kept thinking I needed these fancy rigs to catch fish, when all you need is a simple jig and a minnow really, “the juice” love the channel man, I’m binge watching these like a Netflix series

Been crappie fishing bridges for years.next time you go there use a slip bobber keeps bait in strike zone longer. With your conditions bobber would have given jig all the action it needed. Great video .

Little minnow gulp and those jig will slay those crappies! I slay bucket loads every year.

Also, easy crappie recipe. Take bell peppers, onions, and lemon slices and roast them in the oven. Take the crappie filets and put roasted garlic seasoning, salt, pepper and paprika and in the oven with the roasted veggies till fish are fully cooked. Simple but great!

very nice video you guys,glad to see it being made recent ,,i have not been fishing in years and decided to try my luck yesterday at several locations and spots that i could cover in a day but it only managed to remind me why i quit fishing in the first place specially trying to go after elusive crappies and having to deal with nasty ppl on the road or land owners or ppl who cant mind there own buisness etc ,,barely got a nibble man,,i only caught several good ones like one time in my life near a bridge and never caught nothing there again after that lol,,i was also in same situation like you bending down and barely having room to sit under a bridge full of rocks lol but we do it cause its worth it,,,btw where you at? im in southern ontario ,i will try my luck maybe one or two more times ,its rough out there man but im seeing lots of fishermen out there during the weekday specially cause no one is working now,,used to be nice and quiet all to myself when i was unemployed lol not anymore i got company now

Like on that fishing. I like a chartreuse oggertail grub with speckles Texas rig if if possible.but have you ever tried hair jigs really small work them in the zone really slow 🐌 on a less windy day . Great action big fish as always and great food .

I live in northeast Ohio. We get hundreds of walleye a year on Erie. They are great, but my list is yellow perch, best eating, then crappie, then walleyes. Yellow perch on Erie are between 12-18 inches. At lest on the east side of the lake. I fish my home lake for crappie. And everytime I get home with them my daughter says clean them now and let's eat!

Walleye for sure is better, however I do like perch even better, as far as crappie recipes, try blackened, just go get some Louisiana Zatarans blackened seasoning , no breading,and just a little oil in the pan, and then also fish sammies homeboy
