10 years ago. Damn. I was 14 years old, my mom was a drug addict and had just gotten arrested in a car chase with the cops. I was an angry confused kid back then. My grandparents kicked me out after I stopped going to high school. I sold a good amount of weed and acid to the kids at school to make my money. Spent my days smoking and drinking, crashing at friends houses and sleeping at parks. This song always made me feel sad, yet hopeful in a way. Funny music

This is one of the songs I play for my kid. Hes still in her belly but he just developed ears and music is a necessity just like his daddy =) And I think with peaceful music like this that hes going to develop a good brain and a peaceful attitude.

i know this isnt gonna really impact people but I love this song and I miss my grandfather, my grandfather was a combat medic. although he didnt pass away in battle and while he had wonderful life it wasnt always great for him. He would always tell me about his childhood and I sware to god all his childhood stories sounded like a defeater album, although he had overcome his odds. Id always remember he would tell me and my cousins to work hard, I am very privileged because of him. I have so many experiences i will always remember and cherish. he was a really good guy. So when I here this song and this song by adtr called another song about the weekend (specifically the acoustic version). I cry (like I bawl and become really manic) and remember him and my grandmother. Its not a bad cry though. It never is. I wish I could have said goodbye in that summer of 2015. I was really depressed and I'm sorry. I hope to see them once again if there is a afterlife. Thia song kind of hits me because it reminds me of being a gentleman. I am, and it has gotten me hurt in pathetic excuses of relationships, because for some reason the nice guy always gets fucked over. But songs like these also remind me that it isn't me.
