@@49erDiner idk where the real guy is from, I'm just talking about his accent in the movie. It isn't a Baltimore accent. It's more southern with a wild mix of Pennsylvania but just barely. Honestly, it's unrecognizable because he really isn't trying to do a regional accent.

Tom hardy is the definition of character acting . I wish he and Daniel Day-Lewis could have done one film together ! They’re both phenomenal as character actors and they are masters of their craft

That there is a deep south dialect. I reckon probably deep Georgia, South Carolina low country dialect. Man, Hardy absolutely NAILED it. The CHARACTER that language gives when done correctly is amazing.

2:48 weird shot of Bridger lying there because when Fitz went to pull the trigger Bridger was laying in the dirt with no snow under him but the next shot he has snow all in his hair and what not lol

Tom became one of my fav actors after this performance. Then I saw him in Peaky Blinders as Alfie Solomons....one of the best characters on tv or in a movie for me, he was amazing.

I’ve heard that Anton Chigurh is considered film’s most clinically accurate psychopath so far. While he’s a spectacular depiction - I’m not sure he holds a candle to Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald wasnt really a psychopath, he was more of an opportunist and the way he valued the lives of others was pretty much on point for that era.

This movie came out about the same time as Red Dead Redemption 2 and my girlfriend (now wife) watched me play countless hours on the TV. When we watched this together, she said “This is like your horse game!” 😂

As someone that shoots flintlock rifles, there's absolutely zero chance that if you left a loaded rifle overnight in a snowy environment, that it would still fire in the morning. The main charge in the barrel and the charge in the pan would both be too moist.
