@wwhn no that was Hyacinth (the youngest bridgerton). Francesca was usually seen when all the kids were together. But she didn't say/do much. Honestly I only know her, because I read the books. But if you didn't, it's quite understandable you don't remember her. I also think she was only mentioned in season 2.

I would not say she is a bad person. I would say she has some growing up to do. Right now, she is a little too self-absorbed, and the whole mentality "I am better than you" because she thinks/wants different stuff is getting bit annoying.

Thank you for this because honestly I’ve never heard this take before. But I genuinely don’t think Eloise is a bad person no more than I don’t think that Pen is. I do think that they both had moments where they chose their own personal endeavors over their friendship. In this new season I think Eloise will do some questionable stuff but I think she’s allowed to flush those feelings out after learning who lady whistle down is and all that entails. But I do thank you for your different perspective because I can see where you’re coming from definitely!

I mean penelope has been lying to her and spilling everyone’s secrets for years she even ruined that one pregnant girls life and she was forced to marry an abusive man because of penelope while eloise just has petty teen girl drama so in my books penelope is a lot worser than eloise even tho i still love her character

Eloise is a self absorbed young lady. She seldom took the time to listen to Penelope. She would talk over her, rattle on never expecting or wanting a reply, and when Pen would try and provide feedback, she dismissed her entirely. She could not seem to show any compassion towards her brother when his bride walked out, instead giving a brief lecture on her opinion of marriage. She has never considered that Pen wanted to find love and marry. She never considered that showing up to her young man’s work place after the scandal might jeopardize his livelihood. Let’s just hope she matures a bit and develops the ability to view the world from other perspectives.

@@kathrynbaker7278 true. They were at different stages in their development and socially they are on different levels. Penelope had to grow up faster because of her family's money troubles and questionable reputation. Eloise takes her privileged position for granted and acts like a child. That boy could have probably spent the rest of his life behind bars if the queen insisted on it. From what we've seen of this rift between them, it had a positive effect on Penelope, I'm sure Eloise will come around.
