I have these tires installed on our 1st Gen fortuner, fairly quiet and good traction for everyday use, it's been 4 years since installed. Installed 265/70/R16, it's the largest you can fit on stock height 1st gen fortuner. Over the years we have tried a number of brands and types of tires on our vehicles, mud tires are cool and aggressive but hella noisy, nowadays we prefer all terrain tires with a lil chunkiness but not overly aggressive. Notable brands we tried are Bridgestone, Dunlop, and Pirelli, have yet to try affordable brands since we fairly keep our tires for very long, no less than 5 years. Not a knock on brands outside of US or Japan, but the one brand we tried from Malaysia a long time ago was not very good, after few years its starts to bulge, didnt happen just once, from 8 tires, about 4 did go out that way.

I was using bridgestone with the same tyre spec as yours.. after 43000 km mileage there was still more than 4mm of thread depth left.. pretty decent.. wasn’t particularly noisy but the fuel consumption wasn’t very good.. city driving needed a refueling after 490++ km..

been using bridgestone dueler AT for a year same size as yours pero size 17 ang rim ko. mganda performance nya and panalo sa durability. but mas gumanda ride ko nung nag upgrade ako ng black mamba mags +1 off set. nklabas na un gulong konsa body ng navara kaya mas gumanda porma nya. and mas mganda na ang handling.

Yes tama po kayo napakaganda ng performance ng Bridgestone kahit maulan maganda kapit sa kalsada, wala din masyadong road noise. Maraming salamat sa pag share ng experience nyo dito God Bless po!

@BlackWolf-sw7nv. Bos, just saw your comments sa Joey's DIY some months ago regarding Bridgestone AT 275/70R16, that you fitted the same size tires to your size 17 rims. Sana makita niyo itong message ko. Confirm ko lang na nag-fit yung Bridgestone AT 275/70R16 sa inyong size 17 rims. Thanx!

I thought about upgrading to 275/70/R16 but many navara forum members in internet shared that these size tyres rub inner fender and chasis,forget about marginal fuel consumption.Then I installed 265/70/ R16. Waiting for your review regarding this issue.

Yes that's why you need to do at least 2inhes lift to avoid the tires from rubbing.

I have on 275/70r16 bridgestone at on my nav. No rubbing of tires fits perfectly.

Sir pansin ko matic din pala transmission mo. Matagal din ba mag shift yung 2nd to 3rd gear mo? Tipong aabot ng 2k rpm before mag shift?

Normal po yan sa navara kailangan lakasan ang tapak sa accelerator para magshift agad.

@@joeysd.i.y salamat po sa sagot Sir Joey. Ganun din po sa Navara ko. 275 65 R18. Kelangan ko pang pumalo gang 2k to 2.5k RPM from 1st to 2nd gear para di hirap sa 2nd gear. Then halos 3k sa 1st gear to 2nd pag paahon para di mabitin sa 2nd gear. Manual nga pala yung sakin.

If you want to keep your stock mags and susp, you may try 275-65r18 boss...pa share lang ng navi ko, dati naka 285-70-17 with 3" lift, now using 33's kc nag expire na gulong salamat po kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f66Uf9yFqburiIk.html

Depende na po sa inyo yung iba mas nakalabas mas maganda sa kanila pero ako konti lang gusto ko kahit 20mm or 25mm ok na para hindi rin tumatalsik masyado ang putik sa mga gilid.
