Their interest is not global warming. I lived in an Eco Village for 20 years and we didn’t get any tax cuts or any benefits from the government for living in an ecological community where we try to lower our footprint. If they really cared about global warming they would lower their own footprint. We would be working on real changes in how houses are built and in having smaller homes. There is so much we know about decreasing our foot prints. This is not about that. One of the best ways to lower the footprint is to have local manufacturing and local farming and less transportation of goods from one country and one state to another

It was easier to get people to believe in Capitalism BEFORE manufacturing got outsourced to China and America got over run with millions and millions of cheap workers. It increased GDP but ultimately set in motion the decline of American Civilisation.

@@simonescelsa What they sell are not "crumbs" to ordinary folks like myself, those crumbs outside the corrupt banks maybe the difference between life and death for us one day. Last "Austerity" measures the Westminster vermin imposed on the ordinary folk of the UK cost 170,000 deaths. I was VERY close to being one of them :( alas most folk in Uk do not have any gold/silver and I fear, with other issues, there will be a truly horrific death toll in years ahead

Well here in the UK, right after the queen died, the royal mint website went down and bullion coins ran out of stock...the price was £1560 early September, now is £1690 per oz

Totally agree. We need to educate people on what capitalism really is and what capitalism really needs so it can properly function. If we can't restore competition in the economy to make it work as it is supposed to, for many people (not the ones on the receiving side right now), and inevitably, ideologies like communism will sound as a solution to their problems. If the competition problem won't be addressed, I'm afraid very soon 'capitalism' will sound just as bad as 'communism' does right now.

The US fed gov confiscated gold in 1933 and it wasn't legal again until the 70s, they have done this several times already...something to at least consider. Also in 2011 silver was $48 an ounce, now it's what like $18, imagine if you bought that as a hedge for inflation in 2011 like many people did and were encouraged to do... Most people don't have the amount of money you would need to preserve wealth in a collapse, the more important strategy would be food, water, pew pews, then remote self sustaining homestead and everything you might need for a couple years of chaos... The last time the fed gov confiscated gold they at least let you turn it in for their price, but other times they haven't, can you wait 40 or 59 years until it's legal to sell again??? Silver would be the better item for trade during a collapse, but bulky to store wealth for sure. Whatever you do involves risk, but if you're starving or dying of thirst, how many gold bars would you trade to live???

Silver/gold are just part of what folk should do to try and survive the coming mayhem and recover in a reasonable way. We cannot know exactly what will happen, in our area, national or world. So prepping is just an absolutely sensible thing to do, and storing wealth in a useful from is part of that. A Depression...Climate mayhem (sorry but I'm pretty damn sure that's real, just being abused by psychopaths), collapse of supply lines, hyperinflation, WW3 conventional limited or full nuclear, who knows! To have a garden and some silver is the minimum anyone should do, many of us have limited funds and there's government BS, but that's achievable by all. Even a small amount of metals can make a big difference, because it gives you a head start, or a means to buy things in emergency When things go to hell, the leaders will use that as an excuse to try and force CBDCs on us, but that is almost certain to fail at some point. But how long will it take to fail? Odds are folk would have black markets just like in Soviet Union, those with gold/silver have an advantage
