If they sell their huge home (here in FL) to "downsize" they may be paying 4-5K in taxes now...they may end up paying way MORE in taxes for a smaller house due to our crazy ass prices in south FL. My in laws next door neighbors that bought new construction alongside them, just bought a house in the same area and their taxes are going from 3K a year to 16K at the new house...... and that doesn't count insurance which is probably going to be around 6-8K for my area (although they are buying cash so they may not insure, who knows).

On covid masks, spacing - it's about probabilities and lowering the average probabilities of infection (thereby slowing the infection rate) plus lowering the viral load if one does get infected. That's all. Nobody claimed it would stop the transmission of a virus. Of course it won't and that's stupid. The issue during covid was not so much the numbers getting infected, it was the numbers overwhelming hospitals and taking up ICU beds and the rapid growth in those numbers. The measures were largely to slow the speed of hospital admission so the system wouldn't break down.

This whole situation with President Biden is part of the plan. I don't believe that they didn't see this coming. It is a way for the Democrat party to hand pick the candidate.
