because the Briggs World engine puts out 11.5hp, and they want people to think their stock engines magically produce 18hp .. .LOL, sure! This is the age old scam of making highly inflated tuner claims. Blueprinting, can not raise the power output to 18hp, if that was possible, the stock engine rules would be immediately changed.

A static number isn't worth much... I want to see the curve...

warmfreeze Blueprinted only means all the tolerances were checked and found to be within the guidelines of an engineering decree. 18 horse out of an engine only designed for five is 270%+ increase so they know something. That would be like getting 700 horse out of a BMW SS1000R motorcycle without turbo or nitrous, not going to happen.

The world formula puts out 11.5 HP from the factory not 5. The world formula that I just bought from Scott Racing Engines for my sons Jr. Sprint dynoed at 19.38HP.

92 Octane according to Briggs… T4 VP Race Fuel that is 94 Octane… remember this is a case where less is more-94 Octane has more potency than 110 especially if the engine is designed for it… I see racers using 110 all the time on these engines and just shake my head….

It would get nowhere near 20hp with tuning. Maybe 8 or 9? Huge amount of mods and maybe get somewhere near 20hp but the problem is it wouldn't last 90 seconds to make the video.

I've seen predators make almost 30 hp. Give the thing a TC and it will haul ass.

Gahl Yogu I could probably give a good guess as why.. Top secret. May have made 50 HP at 2500 and 75 Ft/Lbs of torque at 3200. It's a lawnmower engine. Gran Prix is TS too :)

if its the 20hp stock ride on motor base wen its tuned up does about 60hp witch is the same as mi 80's toyota carolla........... if u are nuts n got da smarts u can get way more out of this engine
