Great idea! Just need to add a cyclone collector in the vacuum line to keep it out of the motor. I put one on the Shop-vac I use for mobile dust collection and I rarely get anything in the shop-vac and my filter stays clean.

You do know you can buy that complete outfit with vacuum hose and diamond cup? Complete with a grinder with a dust seal housing. Mine is a whole lot sturdier that.

Given the danger from dust inhalation, this is good. There are dust extraction systems, this is a good diy solutions vs the expense.

So, the suggestion is that the job is done blindly?🤔 This may be fair if you have to work on a large area. Finer works would need a more nuanced visual control, though. Anyway, the idea is good and well implemented ;)

I was extremely nervous he was gonna out that on the arbor as a shit post and actually turn it on. The only problem with this is that the blade gaurd which would normally shield yo from shrapnel should you disc explode is now a $1.50 piece of plastic and some screws.

see the type of 'blade' he was using? If that went the normal guard wasn't stopping it. I'm sure if he chucks a cutting blade back on he'll take it off :P

El problema con esto es que daña las paredes. No lija, rebana la superficie de manera despareja. Es una herramienta demasiado brusca. Por lo demás, existen herramientas destinadas a cumplir esa función, y su mecanismo difiere muchísimo del de este invento. Aquí la pared no se prepara, se estropea. En efecto, no sirve como preparado para luego pintar. Lo que ahorras en tiempo de lijado lo gastas luego en kilos y kilos de enduido. Podría funcionar para quitar el revoque viejo, pero eso hasta se puede hacer con una espátula y, si no, con un cortafierro de punta ancha y un martillo o maceta.

Posso também dar uma idéia vou fazer uma suposição como reduzir a velocidade de uma bala de metal de arma pequena : é só você usar um hima(azogo)por exemplo você coloca na estrutura de um carro quando uma suposta bala de metal penetrar no azôgo pode reduzir a velocidade da bala tornando o carroais seguro

You could just have the hose go through water first to filter out most of the dust (you'd lose some succion so either increase the size of the vacuum or live with more dust descaping). The adaptor is not such a bad design

You have to use professional vacuum cleaner like mine that sucks eight hours a day, with those there is no problem. The scraping system is good.
