Pretty badass tool you have made. Here's an idea to stop weeds from growing, after trimming just cover the soil with layers of cardboard and add mulch on top of cardboard. The mulch can be woodchips, straw, leafs, pine needles. About 5-10 cm should be enough. The mulch and the cardboard will break down overtime. It will give an natural forest floor look while benefiting the soil and not letting weeds to grow. It will also prevent the soil from drying out or the water to evaporate.

This is EXACTLY the attachment I have been trying to find online to buy since I have 200' of privet hedges to weed. Yours works EXACTLY as how I envisioned one would work. GOOD JOB! I guess I might as well make one now. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO!

It works but I fear the vibration could be too much for the transmission axis and for the wielding ifyou work hard with it; the idea is awesome but it still have margin to be improved

Nest idea. Do not use spray lube on your drill bits. You will burn up your bits. Use motor oil. Works much better. Thanks for sharing.

I don't understand why so many people don't like it. Ok, sure!, it isn't store bought but I thought that was the idea in behind making things yourself. You get to make it the way you want it to be. So what if it isn't "everyone's cup of tea", you made it, you like it, and it does what you intended it to do. I think it's a great idea!!! Young man, you go ahead and build whatever suits your fancy. Those of us out here that understand will keep watching.

This guy made my day. The best was marking hole with the calliper ! Accidental cutting floor in the garage 5:15 can be forgiven. Attempts of destroying overloaded Stihl engine cannot be. Windows broken with flying pebbles are not my problem. Wounded neighbours... hmmm.... Generally: WTF ??? Only one thing is dramatic: the number of amazed followers. People, are you sane ?

Dangerous, but brilliant idea. I can imagine a little rock flying towards window or your cars windshield, or in worst case scenario hitting another person. Thats the risk involved in using this. But the idea itself is amazing. I have a trimmer. I think carburator need cleaning, because it chokes, and i have to play with the choker allot to find the right spot for the engine to run. I will have a week full of work making all kind of crazy tools for it when i get it to run again.

Maybe, but not in loose dirt where it throws rocks & makes a lot of dust. Perhaps after some refinement, it could be ok.

Ты молодец. Я же использовал для кожуха старую алюминиевую сковороду и при работе нет пыли и ничего никуда не летит. (сверлить на бетонном полу, резать на нём же "болгаркой"- это против всех правил.)

Интересен процесс изготовления. Само приспособление мертворожденное. Земля на таких оборотах просто превратится в пыль типа цемента . Из корней, через три дня появятся новые ростки, которые будут расти в три раза быстрее прежних. Короче, с практической точки зрения,- пшик.) Ну, а за исполнение +.

Я то же самое делаю просто диском с победитовыми напайками. Пыли столько же. Вот только косу вибрация в хлам не разносит. И времени и материалов на ерунду не трачу. А если делать правильно, есть низкооборотистый редуктор для этого.

Сделал я такую же - фигня все это, правда не большая польза была, пока я ходил с этим дурдомом меж картофельных рядков колорадские жуки со смеху попадали и до следующего дня ржали надо мной забыв о еде, о картофельной ботве !!!

Работал как человек, потихонечку, без шума и пыли :) Нет надо было соорудить адскую машину и поднять шум и столб пыли! А если бы у соседки бельё сушилось за забором? Лучше бы за пивком сходил и поболтал за жисть с соседкой :)))

Peligroso para el operario y gente adyasente, dañino para el piñón y eje de la máquina; se obtendrían los mismos resultados y de forma más segura, simplemente con el hilo de nylon o en su defecto poniéndole dos trozos de linga de acero de motocicletas, muy peligroso quedó el invento, de igual manera me gusta mucho la facilidad con que realiza el proyecto y la destreza para llevar a cabo el mismo
