One other thing that people may want to do. If you find a bulb that you really like for a particular application, go back to the store and buy more of them. Why? When the original bulb dies way before the stated life span on the package you will find that the bulb is not longer manufactured. These new bulbs are just like vehicles. New models are created every year and last years bulb is no longer available. The new bulbs use less energy but incandescent bulb light always looks the same for at least 125 years.
