Oh god I forgot Goldenflower for a period of time! She honestly does deserve more attention!

I think Echomist is very underrated too. She was a queen in Crookedstar's promise, and was a great mother figure of sorts to him. If I remember correctly, she let him sleep in her nest with her and her kits, because Rainflower wouldn't let him sleep with her, and she stood up for him plenty of times in the book.

I believe Ferncloud is a very underrated character. She’s always just been In the background as a queen but has gone through so much. For example, -Her mother, Brindleface, was killed by Tigerclaw. -Her father, Whitestorm, was killed by Bone. -Her brother Ashfur was killed by Hollyleaf -Almost all of her kits died due to illnesses, monsters, ect. -The only surviving kit of hers was Birchfall. She was really put through a lot but despite being treated very poorly she always seemed cheerful and kind.

I absolutely adore Goldenflower and I’ve always been touched by the scene when Leopardstar and Mistyfoot come to take Graystripes kits, Featherkit and Stormkit away. Like, Goldenflower had basically adopted those kits as her own and loved them, and they just took them away like she hadn’t been caring for them and loving them as her own. I love to imagine au’s of Goldenflower standing up to them, and demanding they stay in Thunderclan with her and Graystripe, and then growing up with Bramble and Tawny like siblings ❤ the story would change so dramatically and I love it.

We CANNOT forget about Cody. She was so caring and sweet! She holds a VERY special place in my heart for two reasons. 1. She is amazing. 2. I used to have a dog named Kode (also spelt Cody) who sadly passed away. Let’s give Cody the love that she deserves!

A really underrated character is Dawnpelt. She goes through more grief than anyone (even her own parents) when Flametail dies and she watches as all her kits join Darktail and oust Rowanstar. She tells Violetpaw she is leaving ShadowClan but then she is drowned by Darktail. I wish we could’ve seen more of her pain as her mate dies and her kits betray her to the cat who eventually kills her. What a sucky life she had.

I was so sad to see Aara go. I absolutely ADORE their work, and I love reading their comic on DeviantArt! Their artwork is so detailed and beautiful, and I was so proud of Aara when they reached the 6th round! I was especially happy seeing Aara because this competition helped me get into reading their comic. They’re such an amazing artist! Congrats to all the other artists who have made it this far, and the ones we have lost along the way! Y’all’s art is stunning! Can’t wait to see the winner of the art show!

i feel like a lot of ferncloud’s kits are very underrated and just known for being one of her many. the first one who comes to mind is Foxleap!! throughout the omen of the stars arc he’s just very optimistic and sweet to everyone. i remember something before the great battle where he tells rosepetal that they’ll come back and be together and start a family and every time i think of them never being able to because he died from his wounds makes me so sad :(( he’s insanely loyal to his clan and fights as strong as he can and i think he should have more recognition

Swiftpaw is Goldenflower's son(why do none of her children look like her lol) you'd think they'd mention that in the original arc, that could have made for some incredible drama, and the moment goldenflower absolutely had her breaking point with Tigerstar the first.

The fact that Brambleberry isn't present shows that she is truly the most underrated character. Essentially taking in Crookedkit when his mom emotionally abused him? She deserves more than less than five MAPs (one of them being hosted by me since so few people remember she exists) and being sidelined.

I wish we had gotten a Redtail SE instead of a novella. I know a lot of ppl complain about overlapping SE’s but I still think it would be a great book. We could see all the plot points his novella undertook plus some added detail such as his relationship with his sisters and parents, and his deputyship in general. There is a huge time skip in both Bluestar prophecy and redtails debt and so much could have happened in that time too that could have been discussed.

There is a character that I never see talked about that really deserves it. Plumwillow! She's a background skyclan cat... but she's more in hawkwing's journey. She's an expecting queen who looses her mate when he's lost in the chaos to get away after the darktail battle. After hawkwing looses pebbleshine he stays by her on the journey and helps her out. She helps lessen the pain for his mate and their kits. He gets to help her like he would have treated his mate. And it seems the same for plunwillow, while he doesn't replace sandynose he blocks out the ache by being there for her and her unborn kits. But that's only a few scenes the best part of her is when she's having them. There is a complication in their birth and she gives up and says that there's no point if there's something wrong with them. And that she has nothing but them and if they don't survive then why should she. Hawkwing pushes her through that. He gets her out of that mindset. She was ready to die. To give up. But he showed her that she has more to live for. And her kits turn out okay. He also gives them a father figure while sandynose is gone. This seems like I'm phrasing hawkwing but I'm not. She then gets to be reunited with her mate. Her story was done perfectly. And she even gets to be a mentor. To sunnypelt. She helps her out of the mud. And plumwillow and tinycloud are the ones most worried about the ginger cat. And when she looses her mate again she can't bring herself to do her duties. But she doesn't give up. She learned from last time. She was also one of the cutest kits. Always competing with nettlekit! Speaking off him her didn't even have her family. Nettlesplash was gone, creekfeather, waspwhisker, fallowfern... She is one of the strongest women in the books. (She also lets her son go to thunderclan and doesn't fight it, knowing herself how strong love is) She currently stands as #7 on my favorite cats list. And just so you know I don't ship her with hawkwing. I ship her with tinycloud.

Two underrated characters, in my opinion, have to be Cloudberry and ryewhisker (Code of the clans) They have always been one of my top favorite characters in Warriors. Their relationship with each other is a wholesome but a sad one due to ryewhisker dying before their kits were born, I always thought their relationship was so cute due to how they treated each other and how excited they were when cloudberry was expecting kits, ryewhisker was basically protecting her since she was having his kits in battle against a windclan warrior. Without a doubt, they loved each other, and I wish we had more of their relationship. One part of the book shows how much they loved each other and cared for one another Ryewhisker: "Do you think our kits will be able to run fast and swim?" Cloudberry: "How did you know? I...I was going to tell you, I promise, but I wasn't sure how you'd feel. I thought you might want windclan kits..." Ryewhisker: "They will be windclan kits! And riverclan kits! They will be ours, and that's all that matters!" It's sad that we never knew what happened to their kits or whatever happened to Cloudberry, but after ryewhisker dies, the clans made the decision aka a rule where you can't have a mate from another clan

Goldenflower was probably the best mother in the whole warrior cat series. She has obviously suffered the most loss, and still does her part to serve the clan.

I really like a cat from DoTC named Lighting Tail. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT HIM, HE IS SO COOL, and Shattered Ice, he is mentioned in Tallstar’s Revenge bc he started Tunnelers and the tunnel thingys, but he is so cool, I rlly like his personality and im sad we didn’t get more of him. BARKFACEEE AH he is just so cute as a kit! Defending Tallkit from Shrewkit, who calls him Wormkit and bullies him, and he’s always so supportive of Talltail! They are rlly good friends and I really like him, Idk about Brambleberry because I’ve seen some people talking about her but she’s just so kind to Crookedkit after his injury and when Rainflower neglects him and changes his name. Mudfur also is nice, he lost his wife and dedicated the rest of his life to heal cats. And what about Sorchwind? He seemed so angry when Raggedpelt was made a warrior and he was not.

I have something to say, I really struggled on who to choose when I filled out the form. It was a hard choice an I wish everyone could stay but I had to make my choice, afterall I think everybody worked hard. And I am happy to see all this hard work and good sport, keep up the good work!

I absolutely ADORE Goldenflower, she’s been my favorite character for a while now.

I think Lizardstripe is underrated. Despite her being just background character, she is unique she-cat and it's interesting to think about her relationship with Mudclaw. I don't say everybody should love her, I have just noticed, that Rainflower is very popular and well-known cat in fandom. But everybody forget about such a gift from writers as Lizardstripe. Come on, half of the fandom likes girl-bosses!. I think if Erins didn't forget about Lizardstripe and gave her a story (not just made her another problem for poor Yellowfang) she would have been interesting or even sympathetic character.

There's a very underrated old Skyclan warrior she-cat named FrostClaw! I don't even think 200 people even know her.

I wish we had gotten more Goldenflower. Unfortunately I don't want a novella or anything for her, as it would just mean more retcons that the first series doesn't need. Stormcloud has to have *something* happen. I hope they don't just keep him as a background character.

I just thought of a new Redtail au,this is an au where Redtail(who was actually named Darkkit when he was born in this au) keep listening to Tigerclaw(star) and later became Darkstripe,in this au Tigerstar successfully killed Bluestar and Darkstripe becomes the deputy of ThunderClan.When Tigerstar asks Darkstripe to get rid of Fireheart, Darkstripe does so and goes out with Fireheart to hunt alone,then kills him and frames Cloudtail. TigerClan is still formed,with WindClan being the only standing clan not part of TigerClan.Tigerstar declares war on WindClan,and in the heat of battle Darkstripe and Tigerstar tagteam Tallstar and kill him,taking over WindClan. The WindClan deputy,Deadfoot,pleads to Scourge for help and Deadfoot brings him to the forest with BloodClan,WindClan and BloodClan fight together against the other three clans and Scourge kills Tigerstar to Darkstripe kills Scourge in retaliation. Darkstripe becomes Darkstar but changes his name to Redstar instead and TigerClan departs,RiverClan and ShadowClan go back to their normal territories,and the four clans are back together,Redstar is ThunderClans leader,Deadstar is WindClans leader, Blackstar is ShadowClans leader,and Leopardstar is RiverClans leader. Redstar makes Swiftwind,who is Swiftpaw as a warrior,his deputy and ThunderClan is back to normal. Redstar slowly goes to redemption and Spottedleaf is alive still,Cloudtail comes to ThunderClan again and Swiftwind becomes Brighthearts mate.Yellowfang decides to become a warrior like she always wanted to be and is in ThunderClan.

I think green flower is a very underrated cat though she didn't have much screen time she seemed sweet and caring to silver stream during her pregnancy. But then she basically disappeared looking at the wiki it said she died from green cough? But I don't know if that was a mistake of not.

I would really enjoy a goldenflower novella or superedition, it would be really cool to see her pov from falling for tigerclaw to her opinions on everything up to and even past his exile

I feel as if puddleshine is rather underrated he Had to go to his role pretty young and when he was an apprentice he lost lioneye and his other siblings hes lost his mother and father im pretty sure and nearly lost his apprentice last arc i think birchbark is still alive but im not sure.

Goldenflower was a great mom.Brindleface gets a lot of credit for being a good adoptive mother to Cloudtail(which she was) but often people forget that Goldenflower took in Stormkit and Featherkit before Greystripe took them to RiverClan.

Both Redtail and Goldenflower are way to underrated they’re just RAH‼️‼️ Im only sad that redtails book didn’t touch on the cat we were reading about which was kinda sad because it kinda ruin the view of him but he is still an amazing character to me.

Thrushpelt and goose feather are my favorite underrated charecter thrushpelt because he actually took blue stars rejection really well he played along even though it hurt him just because he love her so much and goose feather because his whole life cats hated him bully him and star clan didn’t help him but he still tried to do his duty even though it was ruining his life and that is what I call perseverance because he never gave up and the poor cat just needs a big hug

I think that Breezepelt and Brokenstar are underrated. Imagine this: On one hand, one parent tells you that you’re amazing, the best cat to ever grace the Clans, but on the other hand, the other parent ignores you and practically says you’re worthless. Who do you listen to? I really wish their emotional states were explored more. I hope there’s a Breezepelt novella diving into this parallel between Breezepelt and Brokenstar

Ok, here me out, but omg Mistlekit was SO underrated. I would have loved to see some kind of villain arc thing where she felt left out due to her mother never paying attention to her, and how Snowkit was the only cat paid attention to even after he was gone! Perhaps she could have gone off on her own to find Tigerstar and been found dead, or even just successfully joined Tigerstar!

Tbh I think Mosspelt is really, REALLY underrated. There's literally barely any piece of media for her Spoilers for The Broken Code (and somewhat) A Starless Clan by the way!! Not only she's currently the oldest living cat in the Clans, but she went through a lot. Straight off the bat, she lost her mate (Frogleap) and then her 2 kits (Woodkit and Robinkit) the next day. Then she lost her sister, Emberdawn, sometime after, but we don't really know when. Her surviving kit (Dawnflower) lived and had kits of her own, but then one of her kits (Mosspelt's grandkit aka Tumblekit) died. Mosspelt had Willowshine with an unknown cat, like?? who is Willowshine's father?? And then Mosspelt lost Dawnflower and then Pebblefoot a bit after the Great Battle. Then literally Willowshine died in TBC, and now the only family she has left is Minnowtail, one of her grandkits I think she def needs more love, she's really underrated and went through a lot, I hope there will be at least a few maps or pmvs about her because,, idk I just love her sm

Golden flower really is an inspirational cat. She lost her kits and didn’t collapse in grief, she found out her mate was evil and she still possibly loved him, but she understood and even though she was most likely hurting, she still was a good mom (not doing what Sparkpelt did and just collapse in grief. I know Larksong died then, but Tigerstar continued to kill his former Clan and brought BloodClan to the forest) after that. And she had to face Tawnypelt leaving, which also could’ve hurt her, since Lynxkit and Swiftpaw, so she was left with Bramblestar, who only seemed to visit her when he felt like it, which was hardly ever. He left on the journey for a long time and Goldenflower died, going to StarClan, who eventually found out what happened to him with the Ashfur situation. Goldenflower is so strong, and a beautiful character. We should really strive to be Goldenflower, putting her family and Clan above all else. ❤

i feel like brackenfur is such a underrated ccharacter, hes a great warrior and just has a very god, simple story which I like. I also really like thrushpelt, hes pretty underatted too. i hate bluestar for treating him so badly 😭😭
