Tigerstar didn't leave his clan to become their leader. He was supervising them. In Thunder, it states by the middle of the book he had left ShadowClan and left a few warriors there. By the end of the book, he left one warrior in RiverClan.

Bramblestar couldn't have chosen a more competent (not to mention likeable) replacement? Squirrel sucks

Shes a decent leader, and she's definitely not an "idiot" 💀 And Bramblestar was an okay leader at best, he made lots of stupid decisions before, mainly in "Squirrelflight's Hope" and a bit after OOTS. Squilf definitely isn't worse than him at all, considering she's only been a leader for about one or two books.

@@CocoaBombRoblox it's a lot. Mistystar dies and before Reedwhisker, RiverClan's deputy can get his 9 lives, he is killed under mysterious circumstances. RiverClan goes into chaos trying to find a new leader. Frostpaw, the main RiverClan protagonist sees a curled feather thinking her mother, Curlfeather should be leader. They go to the moonpool. Curlfeather dies too. Then owlnose becomes leader and couldn't handle the stress. The clan is falling into further chaos and Tigerstar intervenes and temporarily takes over causing a lot of tension. Meanwhile there is another forbidden relationship in ThunderClan and ShadowClan and parental and identity issues. But anyways back to RiverClan. Everything is going horribly and Frostpaw attempts to go to WindClan for Whistlepaw's help. Whistlepaw is a med cat apprentice. Frostpaw is mortally wounded and nearly killed on the way there. Whistlepaw finds her and helps her and Frostpaw leaves the clans to go on a quest with Nighheart, another main protagonist. While away, Frostpaw learns Reedwhisker was murdered and so was her mother. There is a murderer in RiverClan and her mother was in on Reedwhisker's death. Frostpaw's clanmate and crush, Splashtail killed Reedwhisker and tried to kill Frostpaw and planted the fake curled feather sign and is now taking over RiverClan. Curlfeather also manipulated her daughter into becoming a med cat apprentice and caused her to believe everything her and Splashtail planned. Also there are issues with rebellious Warriors in ShadowClan during this time too. So much goes on. That's kind of a brief explanation. I'm leaving a lot out. I think so. The Erin's haven't confirmed it but Vicky said she believes it's true and in the early clans it was common for leadership to be passed down to kin
