The strawberry on your pincushion is for sharpening your needles. It is filled with emery bits. Stick the needle into the strawberry and move it forward and back to sharpen it.

The strawberry attached to the pin cushion is filled with emery. You use the strawberry to sharpen needles and pins. Just stab the needle or pin a few times into the strawberry to sharpen it.

Ive been sewing for decades and actually the little strawberry on the side of a tomato pin cushion is for keeping your pins sharp. It's typically filled with steel wool.

All great tips, except the last one with the rubber gloves. Put a rubber band around the lid and voila!, works amazingly well. Not that a rubber glove wouldn’t work, but everyone has a rubber band lying around the kitchen in the gadget drawer 😉

THANK YOU! I used to argue with my dear ex-wife. Finally, I found a container identical to the round manhole cover with the lip that holds that cover in place. I dared her to make the lid go into the jar. Maybe that's one of the reasons she divorced me.

black (or any dark color) rectangle print on Toothpaste tube. : lamitube is supplied in continuous roll. packing/crimping m/c needs to know where to make cut and crimp, this dark rectangle is sensed by sensor for that. On one sealing m/c line only 1 type of toothpaste "paste" will be packed in that assigned printed tube packaging. So, it is NOT for sorting mixup of tubes. If black color is not used for tube outer printing, any dark color already used in design can be used for this optical marking rectangle. This rectangle is there on all products, whose packaging is supplied as continuous roll. e.g. milk pouch, shampoo sachet, oil sachet etc.

The grab handles in a car, “usually rear” often have little divider bits moulded in so you can hang shirts/jackets on hangers without them sliding back and forth.. your welcome lol..

The other reason for a round manhole cover is so that it can't fall into the hole. There is a lip on the edge, the bottom of the cover is slightly smaller than the top, so the top part is too big to fit into the hole.

@@lewismccluskey -- _"You can do this with any shape." -- No, you can't. Think about having a square manhole cover. The hole will always be wider on the opposite corners than on any side of the cover. You can ONLY do this with a round cover.

Wrong. Manhole covers are round so they don't fall in. There is no way to get a round disk down the hole past the lip. Any other shape can be turned sideways and fall in.

Whoa, I didn’t know on my Nissan Maxima the windows roll down with the key, but you can’t roll them back up. You have to stick the key in the door and turn it.

In Chicago the electrical manholes are square, and if you're strong enough you can lift them with your fingers but it's easier with hooks.

The amount of wrong in this is quite impressive. Are we sure this isn't a troll? The black border on windshields is there to hide the goop used to glue it in. Not to make it stick. Instant rice isn't a tea bag. Sharpen scissors by cutting metal ... riiiight. Toilet seat covers, put the flap in front to protect your dangly bits. And as everybody else noted Round covers can't fall into a round hole and the strawberry is for cleaning and sharpening needles.

On jars try warming the lid with hot water or hair dryer for just a few seconds if plastic; longer if metal but not too hot. The lid will usually expand and will then open easily. Use a towel or wash cloth for friction and it will insulate your hand if too warm.

No need to waste time wearing Latex Gloves. Use a Knife with thick Blade. Use a rag to whole tight onto the bottom of the Jar. Then using the blade insert into the gab between the Lid & the Jar. This allow air to pop & loosen the Lid. The seat at the Plane’s Wings may prevent you from getting sick. But you can get your ear blown up inside that will cause damage to your Ear Drums. This actually happened to me when I did not know. Between the Ears being unable to popped & the loud noise when Plane taking off & landing I got ringing in my damaged Ear for life. Getting sick can be fix by asking your Dr. for medicine for it. But getting damaged Ear Drum & having ring in your Ear for life is a lot to loose comparing to being temporary sickened.

In the US we have windows go down after holding unlock on car keys but it’s a safety concern to have them go up when holding lock so in the US they don’t go back up, but if u bought a car from Canada then they will for example.
