All the things about equity, product, sales etc. aside. But simply from an interaction perspective, Sharks felt uncomfortable with his confidence and presence. He was not like those people who show they are dying for a deal and instead of being visibly affected by their comments (some of which were rude for no reason) he clapped back humbly but strongly which irked them.

Just because its presales product, doesn't mean you won't invest in it. The product, in fact looks promising and revolutionary. I guess the sharks don't trust themselves in giving value to the brand, "see the product before you see sales". Considering its cost, I would believe it would be more buoyant in B2B model and highly profitable if sold to the Europe and north America.

Investers appear to be incompetent. Product designer would find investors outside the show. Investers should let the fellow talk more. Once he finishes explaining, people can ask their doubts. Anyway.. best luck to the inventor if product is genuine enough. Restros will definitely find product useful if it saves their time.
