Hey Geoff. Thank goodness Gaspode turned up safe and well. Your stress was hard to see. It looks as though the single strand electric wire has made the fence goat proof. Pity about the kitts- as we have said before, that's farming for you. Glad your adult rabbits are ok. I hope your culprit stops or is caught. What a despicable thing to do. Thanks for this vid. We are still in our dry spell and there is plenty of grass. Best. Johnny. North West England.

Aw...glad to know he's okay. I experienced that with our goat. she was caught between the bushes and couldn't move. Good thing I'd always call them by mimicking their sound and they seem to know it's me. She replied when I called. I was a terrible feeling. Blessings ❤️

Good tip in teaching them to respond to you calls.

Oh the ups and downs! I'm so sorry about your rabbits. It would be a challenge to raise as a colony in those circumstances. Fingers crossed for catching the flower thief - I hope they get their comeuppance. It sounds like you're off to a good start with selling things daily though, that must be very encouraging.

Thanks Julie. I'd still love to do a colony system but I don't think it's viable sadly.

Glad your goatie baby is well and reunited with the herd. As for your video camera can you place it by the road facing in? If you put the honesty box at a point where the people have to walk back to their cars facing where the camera sits it should only turn on when someone pulls into the drive. I used to collect catipillars when I was a kid too, big bushy brown and black ones but that was Canada and I've never seen one in the UK. I hate that we have RHD because the bunnies who used to be able to roam in the garden can't 😔
@BrimwoodFarm3 жыл бұрын
I know, RHD is really nasty. I may have to try and change where the stand is so the camera can catch a better angle. Perseverance. Will get there in the end!

I wonder if you can turn the honesty box and camera away from the road enough to not trigger the motion activation. Same happens with my cameras
@BrimwoodFarm3 жыл бұрын
A bit annoying, isn't it? The problem is, turning it away means it's less on show for passing traffic. I'm hoping in future years I'll have pre-orders for stuff so won't have to rely only on the stand.
