couldn't be more wrong. the whole band have stated in many many interviews that they think their first couple albums are awful. they said suicide season was pretty much recorded in 1 take and they wanted people to listen to their newer stuff (sempiternal onwards). although recently, oli has said that he's starting to warm up to these songs again.

They've used a vocal effect when he screams, it doubles his voice and distorts it slightly, but yeah he's much better when using proper technique.

My ex and I saw Skrillex (performing as Sonny Moore) at a skate rink for free in Ventura CA I think in like 2007. There was MAYBE 12 other people there lol. It’s a trip how some artists can just explode like that.

So fun fact, in the Sydney concert of the same tour we missed out on the deathcore medley because we coaxed Oli and Jordan into performing a great Australian tradition known as a 'shoey' where the person drinks an alcoholic drink out of a shoe. Generally one uses their own shoe for hygiene reasons, Oli not realising this acquired a fans shoes for him and Jordan to perform the act. Also they did it with wine which is not a usual choice by any means. Missing out on the deathcore medley was our trade/punishment for making them do this. TBH it was worth it, would watch their disgust again.

I think he needed a break to let his cords heal from the damage he did to them previously. He also got a bunch of surgery a while back, and that shit takes time to properly heal.

Idk... I got into bmth with amo because I like more than one genre. I found Suicide Season and now bop to that shit in the car. Also, I really like everything after Suicide Season, too. I can't pick a favorite, because I really love all of their music(except for Count Your Blessings and This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For, I hate the poor sound quality).
