Bringing back memories and Ridgemonkey Magic

Күн бұрынSo after the snow, Bernie suggested we take a drive in Buddy Berlingo for a short visit to Scarborough. We've not been for years and the weather (unlike our Blue) wasn't playing ball!
Later back in the van, sheltering from the continuing atrocious weather, we try out Aldi's latest sandwich offering in the Ridgemonkey.
Success or failure?

Been enjoying and liking all of your videos while watching them on auto play. Blue in the back reminds me so much of our camping adventures. So cosy all of us in the rooftop tent and while driving in the car. Your videos watch like a dream! The filming is outstanding in it's own way.

It was so rough, almost blew Bernie off his feet. Shame about the stairrod 🌧 and was hoping the tide was in...would have been some fantastic footage...if I could keep hold of the camera that is!! 😬🐕🚙

Great being in the van when it’s blowing a gale I have a good record on the crane amusement I must say - many a crap stuffed toy has been obtained lol😂 I would not be without the RM but Jane hates it Thanks for sharing your trip

Honestly we had every type of weather in just 6 days! Like you say though...cosy. Bernie did once win a toy dog after much mithering from our daughter and pounds spent, when she was little and a huge bar of Cadbury's! As for the RM same here, but it does have it's moments...like when the two Pans split at inopportune moments lol 😆 🐕🚙

Thanks for watching. Scarborough is your traditional seaside town down on the front and the last time we were there (mind you...a lot of years ago) it had a busy, thriving town centre too. 🤔🐕🚙

Great vlog Tina. Ive cooked these in my RM and i close the lid. Mine doesn’t go soggy and melts the cheese better and doesn’t stick. I go low slow and keep turning the RM xx

What a shame about the weather for your return to Scarborough. Lovely looking toasties though. I’ve just got a RM so tomorrow I’m planning a toastie lunch out in my little Elsie (the campervan). Hope Blue is doing well 😊

You can try to use Baking Paper as a Cover for sticky stuff in the Ridge Monkey. That can help

Looks like a good time. Those toasted sandwiches could you not turn the cheese side of the bread so it faces the inside 😊

Look forward to seeing it. To be honest, we bought a kelly kettle. Sounded great, but we sold it after only a few uses. It needed extra sticks etc too often to make it useful for us. But horses for courses and good for cooking outdoors, no gas, no charcoal, to stow, just what's available where you are at that particular time.😊🐕🚙
