Join me as I take on the journey of bringing back the gloss to a 2012 Mercedes Limousine through a Minor Correction Detail and finishing off with GYEON Infinite Ceramic Coatings. Amazing work. Long time detailer here before developing sepsis and having to deal with that damage I used to test products before market. I always said you never ever stop learning and after the sepsis I almost had to start again but it gave me a goal. I am thinking of buying the pad washer myself interesting about the splash because I was asking that very thing and was told no just keep the pad low I have to say I did question that and you proved my right. Still going to buy it though. Love your videos James

Cheers @jamesfoote8916, the pad washer is great for microfiber pads but not so great for foam pads and once the day of polishing is finished I take it out of the studio and clean all my pads in it ready for the washing machine 👍

Awesome job. I’m in the funeral trade and we have 3 limousines and a hearse and 3 ambulances. Keeping on top of these is a night mare and of course we have a few damages done by families ie hand bags umbrellas etc. Strange how the coach builder put metallic door handles on a solid black car! Our 212 is the same and the 213

now that's alot of surface area 😅. If you had to pick, would you rather refine the finicky flat black paint or finger polish the Bentley arnage grill? (if you already haven't done it of course) 😂. Top job again mate

Thanks @KiloRomeoOscar give me flat black paint any day of the week 🤣🤣🤣 ( I am not a big fan of Bentley grilles ) Vlog 40 shows how much I didn't like the grille 😂 👍

Your editing game is almost as good as your detailing game these days! The deep scratches on the bonnet, did they come out with a cut?

Thanks @LoudModeOn I now have new editing software and am learning how to use it ( its a mine field 🤯) the scratches on the bonnet came out to 95% and completely forgot to film it 👍

Very skilled detailer, keep on doing you 💪🏼 just found your channel and have watched and liked a few videos of yours today alone, inspiring! 🥳 I have one question, did you apply the coating after ~24h from the jewelling stage with primer to prevent possible marring from prepping or did you prep the surface before coating? Welcome to the channel @JoarHolmberg, thanks so much for watching and liking the videos, as for Primer it was left overnight but not 24 hours so I did Gyeon Prep it before I applied the coating ( very carefully wiping with plush towels ) 👍

@grahambell9831 16" x 16" Super Plush 470gsm Orange Microfibre Edgeless Korean from In 2 Detailing, after a few washes they have lost a bit of colour but still work absolutely fine 👍

@cornwallcarcare8959 thanks for the reply and the tip. A purchase will be made in a few weeks time. It will be part of my garage upgrade. A kranzle set up , retractable flexible hose & reel. A mix of gyeon and koch chemie products.....and a set of new towels, brushes buckets etc. I'm going all in ! The wife just rolls her eyes ! Have a great week ahead Jody ! Cheers 🍻 Graham.

Ooof. Nice! Not a massive fan of pad washers. Looks like it chewed it up slightly. I just thumb mine out in the sink. Gives me a break.

@@dariussecession4150 I like the idea of them, but it’s essentially a bucket with a lid and pump. Then you need to buy special pad cleaner, then clean the pad cleaner. Sink takes two mins tops, doesn’t chew up pads, keeps my clothes clean and my £450 rotary away from water 😂

@@bestcrazyboy8487 me? I’ve only had higher end units purely for reliability (not having to test loads out just know that flex produce very robust tools) I use a flex pxe80. Depends what sort of budget you’re working to really. You might find some Rupes Ibrid going cheap, carbon collective have their version and there’s a maxishine one that few places carry. Personally, I’d save up and buy the flex. The amount of flexibility hasn’t been beaten yet

Honestly @gingerbadger it wouldn't surprise me if it it got chewed up a bit from the pad washer ( plus that was not a new pad to begin with ), I really only use it on single stage paint to try and keep it clean as my sink is out of the studio right at the front of the unit. 👍
