I know some people may have mixed feelings with Katie Vision considering how random some of the popups may be but I think they're pretty cool. I love the 2D/mixed media effects and doodles and I really love the cute mini Katies that appear throughout the movie. It gave me a Diary of a Wimpy Kid/Lizzie Maguire feel

Also at 0:12 put the speed at 0.25 cause you'll see a BIG Easter egg in one frame when the logo comes on. You gotta be fast enough tho. I love how self aware this frame is about the title change with a doodle saying "Back to the original title baby!" and just look at the future movie ideas lmao.

If you pause at just the right time, at 0:13, just before the main logo, you can see so many different messages, and ones an Easter egg to spider verse! It also says things like ‘look mom, we made a real movie’, why did I take the time to make this frame hand drawn?’ and my personal favourite, ‘into the furry verse, oops all furries’

The fact that this movie goes out of his way to create this amazing bits is just super cool, love that there is traditional 2D animations, blend with puppetry, and live action footage, and look so great, others studios NEED to start taking notes of this film and Spiderverse.

Katie-Vision was one of the best things in the movie. Part of what made the film so enjoyable and fun to watch all the through. They really knocked it out of the park with this one

I love that the artists are having fun in the production for the movie, it’s so visually cool and inspiring because it’s so artistically beautiful and the touches of katie vision really help add into the charm of the animation and make it more tactile

@@wynsoul6680 In the beginning of the movie or when the robots took over, they showed clips of places being under attack with their name and this robotic language underneath it. Basically they gave us the clues to decode it in the first half so if you wanna decode it just pause on those scenes and copy 'em.

This reminds me of the intuitiveness and freedom animators have with storytelling. It’s looks exhaustive but also allows every opportunity to inject so much personality into the visuals. This was pleasant to watch

I love the artstyle in this animation so much. And speaking of combining 3D with 2D, you can spot this element on the characters too. The characters of course made with 3D, but the finishing touch, like the outlines, appear 2D which is a nice touch
