firstly a huge sorry from me as i managed to format a memory card by mistake and lost over 100gb of footage so had to make do with what i had,

huge thanks to ‪@seasyourfuture1394‬ for the invitation and accommodation and all they did for me they were fantastic, Also thanks to ‪@ssGreatBritainTrust‬ for allowing me access to her to film ( see my other Videos on my utube )
Bristol Harbour Festival returned from 15 - 17 July 2022 for its 50th anniversary edition.
The festival attracts over 250,000 visitors to enjoy over 120 hours of entertainment, across seven stages from spoken word to the latest Bristol musical talent, local dance performers, world class circus and on-water activity.
Each area of the one mile long festival is carefully developed by the Bristol Harbour Festival programmers Cirque Bijou, Thekla, Trinity Community Arts, Tony Benjamin, My Future My Choice, Rebecca Tantony, Grain Barge, Brunel's ss Great Britain and Jelli Records. A fleet of feature vessels are expected in the harbour as well as over 300 visiting boats, yachts and ships.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary year, organisers will introduce the theme of ‘Ebb and Flow’ to the festival, looking at the changing face of the city in line with the transformation of the harbour over the last half a century. With many from outside of the city making Bristol their home, this year’s festival will look to engage the diverse range of communities that exist here and bring these to life throughout the four day event. Eight artists will work with seven communities and community partners to bring to life stories reflecting the ebb and flow of the people of Bristol through installations around the harbour, creating a performative and interactive trail.
Music line-up
The amphitheatre’s Bristol Music Stage will feature Dazee, Black Roots and Doreen Doreen amongst a stellar celebration of the city’s music scene. The Circus Playground returns to Queen Square with Cirque Bijou lining up circus and street theatre performances for all the family, while Trinity Community Arts presents Bristol Dances in Millennium Square.
Nine performance areas will feature familiar favourites and new attractions, filling one and a half miles of the city with music, vessels, food markets, circus acts, live music and performers this July. Ebb & Flow, an inclusive programme showcasing community collaborations and emerging and established creative voices will also feature throughout the festival.
Brunel’s SS Great Britain: Albion Dockyard and Brunel Square
There will be free entry to the Albion Dockyard at Hanover Place throughout the weekend, where staff and volunteers from the SS Great Britain Trust will welcome guests to the 540ft-long Grade-II listed dock for unique views of the working shipyard and harbour. Find out more
On Brunel Square, a new year-long outdoor photography exhibition is set to open for the Festival, showcasing the theme of discovery and Bristol’s global connections through the Albion Dock and the SS Great Britain. You'll also find a range of food and drink in the square, including a summer barbecue.
The Matthew, Underfall Yard
The world premiere of The Hamlet Voyage, a one-of-a-kind theatrical critique of the very beginnings of British colonial ambitions, is coming to the Festival - performed on Bristol's famous ship, The Matthew, which will be docked at Underfall Yard Café for this special event. The production will be suitable for all ages. Find out more
On The Water, Bristol Harbourside
Showcasing the city’s incredible maritime heritage, the historic floating harbour takes pride of place during the weekend, celebrating its rich history with free, family-friendly activities programmed on the water’s edge. Eight visiting Tall Ships will join a host of vessels for the weekend, all decorated for the occasion.
Circus Playground, Queen Square
Daredevil stunts, high quality circus, comedy street theatre and creative workshops for children and families will be on offer in Queen Square thanks to Bristol’s own Cirque Bijou.
Bristol Dances, Millennium Square
This year the festival will be supported by South West based drinks partners Thatchers, Bath Ales and gin company Tarquins.
Bristol Harbour Festival is organised by Bristol City Council.
