A sheep described as the loneliest in Britain has been rescued after spending over two years stranded at the bottom of a cliff in the Scottish Highlands.
‘Fiona’ was pulled back up the steep slope by a team of five farmers.
The rescue team volunteered to help after Fiona’s owner was unable to reach her.
The isolation doesn’t seem to have impacted her health after receiving a trim and vet check.
“We have all been absolutely blown away by how stress-free she is, how natural she feels around us - she feels completely comfortable,” The Hoof GP Graeme Barker said.
