I'm a close friend of Charlton Higgins, the son who's father was murdered by John Massey, maybe James English should interview him as I think his viewers and especially those commenting about what a great guy John Massey is may find his side of his life very interesting, growing up knowing that your father was murdered and that his killer has never shown any remorse and is now a free man who is moaning he can't claim his pension.

To be fair to James he interviews the good the bad and the ugly.. He never glorifies these people but he lets us hear a fascinating story. When interviewing a guy that has served decades in prison there is going to be people in his past that got hurt and families that are still hurting now. But James has this platform for us to hear these stories, they are fascinating to listen to and I often think of the victims behind some of these characters. Having said that, I do understand exactly what you are saying and I'm sure James would have no issue interviewing your mate.

I have utmost respect for John, he certainly is no psychopath, I was a kid that went through the detention centres, borstals and the prison system, theirs more psychopaths locking us up, and running the country than actually behind the cell door. It’s great to see, the system never took his sense of humour

I have never met such a humble man not at all modest of his vast knowledge and creativity. He just gets on with it. Young men should seriously listen to his words of wisdom before they are due to be released from prison or are thinking of a life of crime and the BS the government can hurt you with if you follow that route in life.

His pain? He murdered someone!!! Surely you'd be sympathetic to their pain not his.
@user-ii4rq5ko3x
@user-ii4rq5ko3x Жыл бұрын
@@kingofthewestmidlands4049 I’m sure they have sympathy for both John and the victim’s pain. Life isn’t black and white. You don’t need to always choose sides. With that said though, I think there are certain types of criminals. Those who were born without the correct morals for this world because of how their psych is made up and then there are those who’s childhoods have shaped their morals in a negative way. John clearly has something about him that warrants sympathy, to a certain extent. He stated he used to come home after kids would pick on him and instead of his Dad comforting him or even going out to stick up for him, he would beat him and force him to go out and commit violence. His Mother abandoned him in a children’s home when he was very little, without telling him beforehand what was about to happen. As much as he clearly loved his parents, you can’t deny as a young boy, they didn’t show him the love he needed or shaped him to be someone who would fit in with society and it’s laws. This is why I love James’s interviews, he always asks about childhood and early life which helps to get a truer picture of what the interviewees are actually like and how it’s shaped their future life path.

So good to see Johny Massey on James English's Anything goes, i spent time in Parkhurst with John and what an absolute gentleman, a really nice man..but upset him and you'd see a totaly different John , with John you get what you see, he didn't suffer fool easily and wouldn't tolerate them. We we're both on the Coopers Troopers party, some comical people on Coopers troopers that, John was witty with a dry sense of humour and had me crying tears of laughter on many occasions, a very funny man when he chose to be, the man that i saw today on Anything goes saddened me , to hear of his health issues and all that has happened to the man since the 80s, John was an ultra fit man though still looking well today. I wish you all the very best John , much respect now as then mate, stay safe and take care. Kevin .
