Thank you for writing exactly what I was thinking, and the "adult version" of the song, minus the curly-headed girl and obediently cute dog (which were fine for the musical) is a completely different experience. Sydnie made it so. When they enhanced the Golden Buzzer with "Over the Rainbow" I connected Sydnie to Judy Garland at 17 in _The Wizard of Oz_ Her performance allowed the viewer to think of the song as portraying a kid yearning to fulfill her dreams but also (and this became clear as Garland continued to sing the song to the end of her life) to hear the unsure questioning by an adult of whether reaching the end of the rainbow is actually possible. Similarly, Sydnie takes a rather simple and shallow anthem to sticktoitiveness on a child's level and turns it into thoughtful reflection on the trials that an adult facing some new challenge has already survived. There was also never a dull moment because of the control Simon mentioned. I never knew what to expect from her voice next but there was never anything static or mushy. Bravissima! So happy for her, her family and the audience.

If she doesn't have 'IT', nobody has! She made 'Tomorrow' a totally brand new song, like an artist painting a true masterpiece on an oh so, ordinary piece of canvas. It makes me wonder what she did with the song at 4 years of age. She's also a real entertainer, and I believe there is so much more to Sydnie, than what we've just experienced. She has that ability (truly creative) to make something out of nothing.💝💖💝

I'm 90, and in 1965 we went to see a promising young singer appearing at a West Side Cleveland small night club. Just like Syndie, she had the same quirky, funny, yet humble style. But when she started to sing, we were astounded by her amazing voice. We listened her for dozens of successful years, for she was Barbra Streisand. I had the same feeling with Miss Christmas.

I'm 56 and immediately thought of Barbra also. The rapport she has with the audience, coupled with the uncanny ability to immediately soulshift into the very character that needs to sing that song, as well her honest and very expressive eyes . . . this is what they both share.

I really like that song, one that I have known for around 40 years since I first watched the musical 'Annie' when I was a child. I have never heard a version like it. Singing, acting, whatever she wants to do is going to roll out in front of her like a red carpet. Her voice, beauty and personality are as rare as it comes. Just wow!!

I have watched this video every day for the past 2 weeks since I found it, wandering around KZfaq. I have cried every time I have watched it. I have watched a lot of AGT and BGT videos over the past 10+ years, I love music, love when a person "has their moment". Sydnie's was by far the purest, most genuine reaction to a Golden Buzzer. From her near collapse to her mouthing OMG, to her words when she hugs her Golden Buzzer Judge...her two older family member reactions are priceless. PURE JOY and WONDERMENT. PLEASE, PLEASE SYDNIE, DO NOT LET THIS CHANGE YOUR CORE, I BELIEVE YOUR CORE IS SO STRONG IT WILL NOT. AND LISTENING TO THIS I CAN IMAGINE A NEW BROADWAY SHOW, "ANNIE NOW:", WHERE SYDNIE IS THE LEAD AND GETS TO SING THIS VERSION OF TOMORROW, TYING THE PAST TO THE PRESENT.
