Two great singers - I like both versions. I prefer Loren's for the emotion of the occasion and because it was a chance for a talented person to get something back after a lot of tough issues in her life. But to each their own. I'm glad they both walk among us. 😊

I'm sure she "hid from the spotlight" not because she was "more comfortable" doing so but because of contractual limitations arising out of her contract work in the movie.. Either those limitations expired or they were later renegotiated so that now she can reveal that she was the singer in the movie.

She didn’t hide at all. She did the Voice 10 years ago and released music including a duet with Michael Bublé. She needed attention again I guess.

Don’t get me wrong, her voice is amazing and that song is beautiful but she’s never hidden anywhere.

A lot of the people on this show aren't just off the street most of them do a lot of the things that she does they just haven't had the opportunity to do it to the level that she has but these people didn't just come out of the woodwork they are all fairly well-known behind the scenes they just haven't gotten the Big Break
