I gasped when Juno related the 'bitter' chocolate to tasting like "Daddy's coffee". How incredibly articulate and expressive she is considering her age - coupled with a mature palate!

The crazy thing is, she only mentioned the smell of the coffee. I don't think she'd ever tasted it before. It seems like she could tell coffee is bitter just by the smell.

I started my daughter on dark chocolate. She didn't have milk chocolates for years. I think they forgot the Korean chocopie though

I know this is an old comment, (and video) but same reaction here! I was amazed! Contrast that with the first time my son asked to taste my Dove dark chocolate bar for the first time around the same age… He made the worst scrunched up face, shaking his head side to side before he spurts out in disgust the most accurate description his little mind could think of… “Poop chocolate!” Which is what it became known as in our household for years. He’s now 18, and that image/moment is still as fresh in my head as the day it happened. They grow entirely too fast!

I like how father and godfather repeat what she's just said, but with subtle corrections. Her: "It smells gooder". Adults: "It smells good?" Great parenting there. They didn't say she got it wrong. They showed that they listened to her and she also subconsciously hears the correction.

First of all, she has Dad's humor, second of all, I didn't expect a three year old to discribe things like chewy and Coconut like something that tastes like a vegetable. Also, the connection between a bitter taste and a positive experience, haven't quite seen that.. Did internships at nurseries, with so many children her age or similar to her age and I'm really surprised. She did such a great job in front of the camera and is the cutest!

Yes!! The way she disassociated bitter from bad blew my mind. Usually children that age just can't do that sort of thing, they have ‘good’ and ‘bad’ words which they don't deviate from. She is incredibly intelligent and she'll go far

She's so British and so clever lol. In fact, expresso powder is used by bakers to enhance the chocolate flavour in cakes, so she was pretty accurate with that dark chocolate.

When Juno said that the dark chocolate smelled like her daddies coffee my heart overflowed oh my goodness. I’ve been binge watching Jolly videos all day because I think Josh is cute and I love how much the boys sound like the Weasley twins from HP when they speak in unison, but Juno is who got my partner watching with me! He says when we have kids he wants them to have her precious manners! I quite agree, she’s a darling little gem, good job Ollie! 🥰

Juno is so precious. Ollie, you can just tell how great of a dad you are & how happy & sweet little Juno is. This video actually makes me tear up a bit, it’s so sweet. Sincere respect & blessings to you & Lizzie. Also, I live in Dallas, Texas & I think you & Josh should come to our State Fair. It’s the largest in the country. You guys would love it!
