I want a St. Vincent. You want a St. Vincent. Everyone wants a St. Vincent. But in order to get there, you have to Hawke for a bit. Before we get to the inevitable tier 9, is it arduous in tier 8?

Gonna unlock it soon, still doing battle honors on the Rooke, always love your reviews man, it helps me a lot when I'm not sure what build to use and which playstyle I'll adapt for any ship

I enjoyed Hawke alot! It gets eclipsed in a crowded T8 but a solid ship. I really liked this whole line w/ Duncan & St Vinnie😊

I will say the Industrial Camos for the British ships look pretty good as alternate camos go, and the stats are pretty nice. I bought the set of 4 that fit Rooke through St. Vincent a while back and have not regretted it one bit, especially since I don't have to buy the historical camos on any of them now.

This is my favorite tech tree line. My stats with them all are really good, although the win rate isn't going to necessarily be super impressive if you play with randoms like I tend to do.

Just got her last night n boom heres terry posting it❤❤❤❤it Also love this line. German BCs are my go to but these British ones aint bad either. Both grinds are nice (beside German teir 8 is garbage)

This review was perfect timing because I’m about to get the Hawke. I have very very high expectations for this ship. Renown was great, Rooke was even better, Duncan is supposedly good, and St Vincent is a juggernaut

For Hawke, I agree with survivalist and fully prepared, but if you're prepping for St. Vincent do you think it is a worthwhile trade to go for the precision aiming skills instead?

Hi Terry, sorry to hear about your tenuous health and I wish you the best. Flandre is not a battlecruiser and is strangely rare both in game and in conversations as it is actually a strong BB. I recommend you take another look at it. Just finished my grind with Hawke about a week ago. I felt it was a very average ship and tbh was not particularly impressed. The guns are ok, but does not live up to the hype of the AP pen of the tier 9 and 10. I actually feel that Hawke is sort of the weak link in the line. I prefer Monarch to Hawke. I definitely had some nice citadels with Hawke, but it did not live up to expectations. For an unpopular opinion, I would also say that Conqueror is no longer a bad ship. Not since the buffs some time ago. Prior to the recent AA buff, I felt Conqueror was arguably a better Montana. As you know I have a ton of high tier BBs and my stats in Conqueror are healthy and comparable to other average tier 10s. Best wishes from RAGE

I quadruple cit a CV in Hawke, and I've never done that in any BB so I like it a lot.

@@anubhavdassarma7230 I have gotten cit crisis, in many bbs and ca. Not much of a measure of Hawks AP pen imo. Quad cit sounds like a fluke more than anything else.

Monarch with AP is actually not terrible. Not as good as the KGV, but they did some buffs to the pen at some point, I think. After that though, I'm not convinced :) The battlecruisers are definitely more fun imo.

I want to play again but why can't I log in with my Wargaming account even though the address and password are correct?

maybe try logging in to wargaming.net, to see if your account works correctly? You can also link e.g. a Google account there, if you have one, and use that to log in to the game. Otherwise, I'd recommend asking support@wowsblitz.com

@@FunandGameswithTerry I suspect there is some kind of bug in the login menu, because my address and password are correct. I play on an Asian server, my signal is also very good but for some reason it always fails to log in.

The Hawke my opinion, it's the best battlecruiser in tier 8 to play. It has highest dpm for a nimble battlecruiser. Although it still can be beaten by other battleships, it still a best ship to play. Also I almost done to the Duncan, but the playstyle still the same or being a menacing sniper to me !

As far as tech tree alternatives go, the competition at t8 isn’t exactly tough with the main alternative being the Zieten 😂 At t9, I love both the Duncan and the Rupprecht - very different play styles, but both can be exceedingly rewarding.

I was about to say, if your competition is the Zieten... ;) Although technically, we could classify Amagi as a battlecruiser. Off the tech tree, Odin is still my favourite in that class at T8.

@@FunandGameswithTerry Indeed, if we add premiums then Odin is still my favourite battlecruiser in tier 8. The Hawke is good, though relative to its tier I’d argue the Rooke is a bit stronger.

Sorry, I'm not the best person to ask about carriers (I'd recommend www.youtube.com/@deathfromabove432), but from my understanding, the USN CVs are easiest to play for beginners, since they rely more heavily on dive bombers, which auto-target.
