Sad to learn of actor, Michael Culver's death age 85. He was one of those dependable, supporting actors who always elevated the work he was in. He had a distinguished acting background, too. His father was the British stage and film actor, Roland Culver. RIP.

So many things we watched that I didn't realise he was in at the time. RIP even if his son bullied me at school! I can say met him once when he visited on one of the parents' days. There was a billiards table I played on often there and I was keeping score, and apparently made a mess of it 😬.

Yep, all these people on here saying that they've never heard of any of these people must be young, because Steve Harley was pretty big in the 1970s. I still listen to "Death Trip" a couple of times a year, and will definitely raise a glass to him tomorrow.

@@daleviker5884 Yes,he and Cockney Rebel were really big in 1974-76. By coincidence I'd recently been playing a track by World Party called Ship of Fools from 1987 in my long, slow, chronological revisiting of the 80s. Much as I enjoy that song the chorus of it always had a slight Cockney Rebel-ish influence to me. If not that then maybe Mott the Hoople.
