"Give us a job" an often repeated quote and quite apropriate when I left school two years later when unemployment had reached over 3 million. When it started (days I can remember) of Ken Barlow & family 'round the table in their living room etc. t.v. was a pioneering enterprise and script writers had a blank canvas on which to implant memories in our brains. However with technology continually saving and reloading all of the data since way back when nothing is 'fresh' anymore so it's not surprising that every thing goes stale?
