Daz is right on Lebron choose where he’s go (which would be based on where Bronny goes). The NBA has more “player’s choice” than any other American League. Also I believe Bronx’s deal is up soon anyway, so he’ll just sign a 1-year deal until he retires after this Laker deal. I don’t know how long he will last, but if he plays in the same year as Bryce James that’s an excellent achievement (at least 3 more season before Bryce is eligible and 1 more before Bronny is).

The debate for greatest SF (small forward) in NBA History has always been between Bron and Bird at least to me

It really depends on what you classify Kevin Durant as. He has always played a role more akin to a small forward than a power forward. Even if you consider only his OKC and Golden State years as his time at small forward, his numbers are better than Bird's. LeBron, Bird, and Durant are the three best. LeBron is far ahead of the other two.

The answer is an unequivocal: Lebron. 10 years ago you could debate this, but not anymore.

It's purely based on stats of course, not style of play. So ironically Larry Bird compares closely both to one of the least athletic players in Jokovic, as well as one of the most athletically gifted of all time in LeBron. Yet, Bird's game is not similar to either really. Bird (despite always getting diminished for his athleticism) was much faster and more agile that Joker, and obviously much more gravity-challenged, and much less physically imposing than LeBron.

The key thing here is that the comparisons only go back to 1978. So, no Wilt, no West, no Oscar, no Pistol Pete, no Clyde, etc., Not that anyone ca compare to Wilt, but still, this is the problem with today's NBA fans. They tend to think that basketball before 2000 or 1990 or 1980 is worthless when in fact, the opposite is true.

@willmiles5236 I was once young and naive like yourself. Any top player from any era could play in any era. If Kareem or Bird or Shaq or Jordan or any of the greats were in high school right now, they'd be the #1 ranked player in the country
@millardfilmore1403
@millardfilmore1403 9 ай бұрын
@@the_dog_says_moo idealistic nonsense. there ARE players from even the 50s that, if given the same training etc of the modern age could make it in today's league and perhaps be legendary, but there are also players that were stars back then that just would never make it. what you are saying is baseless.

The makeup of the present is inseparable from that of the past. This is true in general, but is able to seen very clearly within enclosed systems like, for example, the NBA. Without a Dirk, there could never have been a Jokic and so on.
