I literally just got into kpop like 1-2 months ago and it was thanks to a friend that is super into Blackpink, I even pre-ordered the new album. It's really cool seeing Jon giving it a listen. I've been following since the Rock React days and always thought that them/Jon now giving an opportunity to new music/genres was really cool, to not let your own preconceptions keep you from discovering good music. I had my own preconceptions about kpop as well but after giving an opportunity to different groups I was really captured. There's a lot of kpop songs/groups that are really interesting musically. If you decide to react to more kpop groups, my recommendation would be Aespa, to the songs Savage, Girls or Next Level. They have really strong vocals and they are really different to the other kpop groups I've heard

I have to laugh every time I watch a new KZfaqr react to these talented ladies because what you said at the 6-6:10 mark about US and GB stepping up is what everyone have said when reacting to them. Check out their previous MVs (how you like that, boombayah, lovesick girls, and many more) and you'll see that their style is multi-genre in every song. They all speak multiple languages and they mix Korean with English in all their songs which is why they have the largest fanbase worldwide. It's staggering.

They r mixed of Swag, more hiphop and has korean cuteness in it. Also each member has their own strong uniqueness in their vocals, looks, characters. It makes them a very special girlgroup.

Gonna give some context to each of the group members Jennie is the first one up. She’s the “it girl” and most controversial member of the group. She’s a singer and a rapper and she’s known for her versatility, star quality, and charisma. Second is Lisa. She’s arguably the most popular member known for her skills as a rapper and is regarded as one of the best dancers of her generation. She’s currently the most followed Koop artist in the entire world. Rosie or Rosè is the third singer with the platinum hair. She’s the singer/songwriter of the group with the most range and vocal abilities. She’s also the groups second best dancer after Lisa. Lastly is Jisoo. She’s the oldest of the group and the “visual” which is a K Pop term used to describe the member who is the most conventionally attractive. She’s a singer with a darker more mature voice than the other members.
