Great Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard about - Chiveard Ideal Course Framework (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning Spanish quickly and easyily without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my GF after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

Honey, we all speak the same language: differences in vocabulary and pronunciation are minimum. If you are brit, is it very difficult for you to understand a newyorker? I think there are more differences between American and British English. Muchos besitos desde España.

En realidad no, el español de España y de Latinoamérica se separó hace más de 500 años, el inglés del Reino Unido y USA se separó hace unos 300. Son más similares las variantes de inglés entre sí que las del español, aunque nos entendamos perfectamente quitando algunas palabras o expresiones locales

@@alex-eucmad.7133 se separó hace más de 500 años o el flujo migratorio continuó hasta el primer cuarto del siglo XIX que fue cuando la mayoría de las colonias se independizaron? Además el español de América es prácticamente igual que el español de Canarias. Has estado alguna vez en Canarias?

Tori Spencer el flujo ha seguido existiendo siempre, tanto de españoles a Latinoamérica como de ingleses a USA. Pero encuentro muchas más diferencias entre un Catalán y un Argentino que entre un Londinense y un Estadounidense (si tienes cierto nivel de inglés, te das cuenta de ello). Y sí, claro que he estado en Canarias, y no... el español de America no es como el de Canarias, sólo el venezolano se parece. O es que un chileno o un mexicano te parece que hablen como un canario..?

@@alex-eucmad.7133???? Parlas català ? Jo no soc català pero estic prenen i em sembla que no tens cap idea. Pues claro que encuentras diferencias entre un catalán y un argentino, si cuando el catalán habla en catalán está hablando en un idioma distinto jeje. Por otro lado claro que los accentos se diferencian, pero como la gente venía de Canarias y de Andalucía pues el español de América fue el español meridional de España. En canarias no se utiliza el vosotros, se sesea, se dice jugo...

Tori Spencer y por qué das por hecho que el catalán tiene que hablar Catalán??? 😂😂😂 estamos hablando del Español... te he dicho un catalán como te podría haber dicho un asturiano o un extremeño 😂😂😂. De lo que estamos hablando es de sí el inglés americano y británico se parecen más entre sí que el español de España y el de Latinoamérica

1:42 Both languages share a Latin origin????? Are you kidding me??? English is NOT a Roman language, it doesn't come from Latin... French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian and Spanish are Roman languages. I just can't believe the British Council says English has a Latin origin 😂 definitivamente quien haya hecho el vídeo no tiene ni puñetera idea...

@@brendaizquierdo5695 there are literally thousands of languages that are using Latin alphabet nowadays and they do NOT come from Latin... do you think Danish or Croatian come from Latin? Of course they don't, and they use Latin alphabet just like English which is a Germanic language, not a Romance one
