As someone who has worked in the service industry forever. I cringed so hard when Jill Zarin said she wants to teach people. I cannot tell you how condescending it is when someone thinks they’re going to teach me how to do my job better. It’s rude and beyond out of touch with reality.

It’s not what you say it’s HOW you say it! Jill is exhausting and obnoxious! She drains my energy just listening to her. Jill’s biggest fan is Jill!🙄

I just took my migraine headache meds to recover from hearing Zarin. The picture of Heather and her siblings as Kiss for Halloween was wonderful, so cute and wholesome.

The problem with Jill is, she doesn’t own it. If she just put her hands up and said “yes I have high standards. I expect certain things.” People would be calling her a Queen, BO$$. But she protests too much.

The issue I have with Jill is that she never lets people speak. It’s hard to enjoy the interview when she monopolizes it the entire time. You would think by now that she would know better.

Jill's issue is that she is not self-aware. She is annoying and pushy, and that's just rude behavior. Her intentions are not bad but she is just too much. I think she is really nice but my god she just can't help herself. Even in her explaining herself, she was talking about how they didn't edit the show around her.. Heather, you always say that you are thirsty but Jill is next level. Please tell her to stop explaining herself because it just makes her sound worse. Just stop....laugh it off! I can't believe she just rattled off the list of complaints that she sent Fraser.

Jill is devoid of any self awareness….nothing wrong with being an assertive woman, but she uses that as an excuse/veil for her rude, inappropriate behavior, which lacks any social grace or empathy for others. My friends are all strong, independent women but I would run as fast as I can if any of them embodied this level of boundary violations and nonstop pushy behavior which is completely self-serving for Jill. There is a fine line between assertive and aggressive…..and a little self awareness goes a long way….

Jill does make very good points about service on a yacht. But, it is how she delivers her feedback to the crew that is cringe-worthy. During the show Barbie was frustrated with her. Now Barbie is backtracking. Bottom line, it is not the message, but how it is delivered.

Coming from doing hospitality it takes an extreme amount of empathy, patience and passion for the job. It was my joy to make people comfortable and to go above and beyond. That is what separates restaurants/yachts/hotels that have flawless reputations vs. places that have people working for them that don’t truly understand hospitality.

What I really enjoy the most, is just good conversation with people and hearing how they feel, while doin' this life. Just to tell you the truth, in a cool way, so you could maybe see when you cut people off sometimes, but I see you're just trying to interject, and it's easy to do when you're excited about something or feel passionate about something. As a restaurant person for 25yrs, many in a 5 star. Made enough money to raise 2 sons as a single mom because I'm excellent server, bartender, manager. Customers happiness is the utmost important part of my job. They chose to spend hard earned money with & to me. And still was told numerous times if I'd gone to college i wouldn't have to do "this". Without knowing anything about me. So offensive. I think customers attitude has gone down in the last 10-15 years. P.S. those customers still got excellent service!
