Just one song for me.......... 'Everyone'. A vocal masterpiece sung partly in her native Korean and part English. It's an emotional vocal masterclass..... How this wonderful petite lady has the stamina to maintain the quality for 7.5 minutes is staggering. She is a world class singer up with the very best female vocalists. There is a version with english subtitles, but you don't have to understand the lyrics to feel the emotion.

Your final scores are laughable. That performance broke the meter. The 8th Wonder Of The World, So Hyang, is on another level. PERIOD!! For any one to still compare So Hyang in 2022 (this performance was in 2014) to Mariah Carey, loses all credibility. The legendary Mariah Carey, in her prime, and on her best day, could not pull off So Hyang's flawless version of 'I Have Nothing.' The two of you acted like the climax was 'routine', like you hear something similar every day. Those notes were next level, jaw dropping impressive. So Hyang's breath control is insane. PERIOD!! Trust and believe, in 2022, So Hyang is sounding better than ever. Her vocal technique is rock solid.

Not many people can mess with Whitney's stuff without either butchering it or trying to be a carbon copy. I like that she gave it some tweaks here and there to make it unique to her. Your ears are a bit off. Sohyang actually sang the song in a higher key than Whitney Houston, even from the start, and went higher still as she continued. Her style is neither Whitney nor Mariah Carey. It's her very own. This version is more dynamic and complex, whereas the original release is simpler and repetitive.

This comment is a year late, but she was barely over double pneumonia when she did this. She was told not to, but she did it anyway. I hope people will change their views about this performance. Who amongst you could even talk to someone, much less get on a stage and sing with that?

So Hyang sings lovely but Whitney's gritty singing and phrasing as though she has actually lived the song is what I prefer. Her voice is richer, fuller. So Hyang sings perfectly beautifully, sometimes yell-singing to me and often adds unnecessary embellishments which at times makes it difficult to understand the lyrics. IMO
