Well, she definitely has a voice, doesn't she? I like the little lilt she put on the end of some of the words. I always love that almost 'crying' sound in a vocal. It just adds pure emotion. Yep, another young lady who can sing her little socks off. Lovely jubbly!

One of the greatest hidden talents in Canada ! Faouzia is a tremendous singer songwriter and is finally gaining the recognition she so certainly deserves ! Classically trained in violin and piano has helped her development in her singing for sure ! Faouzia has had no vocal training at all ! She is just naturally talented l She is also finishing up an Engineering degree at the same time ! I would strongly suggest more of these stripped down versions as they really highlight her vocal prowess ! Some of her original songs are "You don't even Know Me " and "How it all works Out " with her playing the piano ! Others include "Born Without a Heart " , "Elon" and "Bad Dreams " that are fabulous ! Her collaboration with John Legend with her original song "Minefields " is a stunning duet Faouzia's lyrics are so relatable that she is able to have an emotional connection with her audience ! She is still getting known in Canada and I just found out about her a couple of months ago and now am totally addicted to this beautiful talented singer ! She is one of my favs and much watch artists ! I want the thank you guys as always for your wonderful and heartfelt commentary and I want to thank you for reacting to Faouzia because she surely deserves more of your attention ! Keep posting ! Hi, I’ve never heard of Faouzia before, her voice is really unique, it has a kind of yodel/wobble to it, it’s quite beautiful. It’s an amazing performance live, which gets better as it goes along. I’m really liking this, and hope to hear more from her. A new great upload, and great reaction 👏⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️

Welcome to the world of Faouzia!! Pronounced Foh-zee-yah, she's an engineer, and she writes her own songs!! Her stripped versions will always blow you away, her covers also!! You can check her " You don't even know me, Stripped", "Elon", " How it all works out, Stripped" , " Desert rose cover", and so many others!! Yay guys! Thanks for doing this. This was a Covid quarantine concert from mid 2020, when she just 20. The official pop version dropped in late 2019. I do think this is her best song, but she dropped a live, stripped version of one called “Anybody Else” this week, that is fast becoming a fav. “RIP, Love” swept TikTok just a few weeks back. Especially SE Asia. It’s very pop-y and plays up her Arabic heritage. Songbird is an unexpected adjective. To my ear, she’s too brassy. But her song “Elon”, after the credits of this concert, do give me mermaid 🧜🏽‍♀️ vibes at the end. (You’ll see) She’s nominated for a Juno in the breakthrough artist category this weekend. (Canada’s version of the BRIT awards.) And has an 8 track album/EP/release coming next week. You are right. Chalk and cheese. Not everyone loves her dramatic power. But singing here, about being someone’s emotional ATM, where they just keep making withdrawals until she’s got nothing left, really conveys her pain. Hoping you will do more of her. Thanks again.

FunFact it's Faouzias song... But Danyelia wants to cover the original song... Sounds very different at first but if you listen very carefully - it's amazing how she rebuilt the original... You have to look it up... This is her most versatile song... If listen to her stripped version Her really successful song is RIP, Love... Going no1 in streaming in over 14 countries like Malaysia and Indonesia Her newest ep will came out on 19th of May... With 8 amazing songs...

@@Rosannasfriend ok... didn´t found it again... there was a post from Faouzia herself ... the only facts i could find out... she ment the iTunes Streaming Charts and in Moracco it was 3 weeks No 1 ... quit impressiv i think... but it must be most very arabic or african influenced countries where she got so high in Ranking in Streaming... but also a Hugh amount of Videos where postet where the use RIP,Love ... for dance ... but also for other stuff like make up ... etc at a talk with Novia (yes the famouls Indonesia singer) she told Faouzia that her song is played everywhere - clubs etc. it was so a wunderful talk between them - both have a hugh respect and care for each other...

Sir, I was surprised by the girl's cover because what she sang was to change the key and remove the beautiful highlights of Faouzia's original that required a high level of vocal technique, making the song easier to sing and sounding flat. But that's okay, I know I can't ask a 13- or 15-year-old to be able to sing Faouzia. Everyone knows that when talking about Faouzia's masterpiece, they mention 'You Don't Even Know Me, 'Tears of Gold' I wish some people didn't take the liberty of writing about her wiki. Regard PT

I highly recommend the stripped versions (the ones with her playing the piano) of How It All Works Out and Bad Dreams if you react to more of her music. Thanks for the reaction!

Moroccan heritage, you can hear the Arab song characteristics, ululations, not yodeling, in her singing .. when called for quite a talented singer and largely self-taught, also clearly very intelligent .. worthy of further review she sang a duet with John Legend, Minefields if you are interested in a follow-up

Just getting around to watching your reaction to Faouzia. Being a professional commenter on KZfaq is very time-consuming, you know.😏 I'm with you guys. I like her voice and style of singing very much. Like this song in particular. I understand not liking her. As I've said before, if we all liked the same thing, the world would be beige.

Faouzia is a fantastic vocalist and has released some amazing tracks, love her. As a point of interest Daneliya Tuleshova has released a cover of this track and she received a comment from Fauzia herself saying "amazing as usual, superstar! ✨:')" . I'm not saying its better, just that it was good enough to be appreciated by the original artist which is amazing in its self here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z9aVndyL2szOfYU.html something for the future maybe.

Um, we're trying. 1:46 in and still here, um..I don't like the cadence of the vocals. Chuey is long gone, 3:16 in I'm still hanging in there. Her voice is beautiful but that dang cadence is throwing me off. Jury is still out..... I am undecided. I didn't want to kick the screen but I don't need to ever hear that song again. NINEPOINTEIGHT??? WTF?

she will be on tour in London in July also her new EP album just came out and was No.28 in the worldwide charts! She sings in many different styles and also in French and Arabic.
