It's whipped butter which is basically halfway whipped cream halfway butter. They haven't processed it the rest of the way to make the butter that you're used to... When you shake cream, it turns into whipped cream. If you continue shaking that whipped cream turns into butter and buttermilk So yes, the whipped cream is very buttery is a very accurate statement because it literally was whipped cream that was turned into butter and hasn't gone through the final process to be just butter

Somebody that doesn't know where whipped cream or butter comes from LOL If you take cream, like liquid cream like heavy cream and you shake the hell out of it, it turns into whipped cream. If you shake the hell out of it, some more that whipped cream will break and turn into butter and butter milk So that is called whipped butter, they have done that first process just to isolate the butter but they haven't squeezed the water out and pressed it into the shape that you're used to So it does actually have a consistency of half butter and half whipped cream
@RogCBrand
@RogCBrand Ай бұрын
@@Bozemanjustin Although buttermilk is cultured, so if you are shaking cream to make butter, what's left over is just skim or low-fat milk. In the old days, to help the process of making butter, they'd let the cream sour a bit- bacteria would be working. So, when they churned it, you'd get butter and the buttermilk would be skim milk that is soured. Today's buttermilk isn't the same. Now, instead, they just take skim or low-fat milk and add the cultures to them, sort of like making yogurt.

Would depend on if you have some fresh fruit/like that sort of thing to begin with but i'll normally just clean some berries and throw them in a bowl covered in sugar overnight in the fridge to macerate. Then In the morning throw that in a sauce pan to boil and thicken up for about 10 minutes. Now you've got a homemade berry syrup to drizzle on pancakes. Strawberries and blackberries work great, but you can use what you like, or mix multiple berries.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! That chicken dish looked fantastic! Those are American hashbrowns (fried shredded potatoes). British hashbrowns are called hashbrown patties here. You would usually get patties in a fast food breakfast like McDonalds or Carl's Jr. You usually get standard hashbrowns in restaurants and diners. I'm surprised you only tried the maple syrup. There should have been a syrup caddy on your table with maple, blueberry, strawberry, and butter pecan. My favorite is the strawberry. The butter on the pancakes is whipped butter (pretty standard in diners). The sauce on the waffles was whipped cream (used alot with strawberries in the US). Our lemonade is lemon, water and sugar. You can buy sparkling lemonade or lemon flavored soda, but our lemonade is not fizzy. In glad your trip turned out so well!

It’s whipped butter on the pancakes. You need to spread the butter on all the pancakes and pour the syrup all over both the pancakes and the waffle. ALSO drizzle some syrup on top of the chicken too. Not too much. If you want a good fruit pancake you need to go to Cracker Barrel and have their blueberry pancakes with regular maple syrup not the blueberry syrup. You can’t beat them.
