Brittlestar’s comedic and family-friendly but irreverent videos have been seen more than 300 MILLION times on various platforms.
With a global fanbase of almost 1 MILLION people, an invitation to the White House, speaking engagements all over North America, starring in the Dreamworks TV show ‘Kid vs Parent’ with his youngest son, collaborations with celebs such as The Property Brothers, and meet-and-greets at PlaylistLive with 20,000 fans strong, Brittlestar is living the social media celebrity dream… not bad for a Dad from the suburbs.
Brittlestar, or Stewart Reynolds (as his mom calls him when he’s in trouble), is the father of two teen boys, Owen and Gregor (both well-known creators online). These three guys, along with Brittlestar’s wife, Shannon (co-star of their successful The Morning Show Thing live stream on Facebook), have created viral videos for a variety of brands and organizations such as Disney, ESPN, Subway, CBC, Walmart, and others.

The states have maternity leave... poutine is great, but I’d hang your hat on Maple Syrup and Foie on everything you could think of (ya know Chicago made Foie illegal it was so good!). Hockey is the greatest gift that Canada has given the world. Hockey players are the best role models for the youth of the world... and many of them should make more than NFL players. But you’re also short changing the entertainment world of Canada... Trailer Park Boys, Letterkenny, heck evening Kids in the Hall were shoes that have huge traction in Canada and an enormous following in the US. Cheers to you neighbors to our north and Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

A year to a year and three months of paid maternity leave? I got a year and three months of paid mat leave with both of my girls in Canada. They have been talking about possibly extending it to 18 months. My friends here in the US are lucky if they get approved for 6 weeks (8 for a c-section). Most don’t even get paid for that time. Not the same thing 😉. Two of my friends had babies this year and it was brutal watching them come back after 6 weeks…I can’t imagine 😢

I'm an American and I travel a lot. Everytime I talk to a foreigner, they always find it necessary to enlighten me on how much better their country is than America. It's.. super awkward to me. First of all, it's just an unnecessary thing to bring up. It's kind of rude. I mean, I never get the urge to gloat about America. Honestly, it comes across as insecure. Anyways, I never buy into the conversation. I just kinda shake my head and change the subject. I think it does the trick quite well. Like, I care.. exactly zero.

Right? My favorite is how I'm apparently a diplomat representative of our foreign policy and that I, personally, should be doing X,Y,Z and stay out of everyone's business. Re: American Beer, stop visiting semi-dry states in the midwest that still suckle the adjunct lager. Visit just about any major US city and you'll find fantastic brews of all kinds. This criticism of the US hasn't been accurate since the 90s. Happy Canada Day, y'all.

You're going to need a lot of food in the Canadian waiting room, because you'll be waiting for a looooong time. As for cancer, despite having many fine Canadian friends and hundreds of acquaintances from over 30 visits to the country, I do not know a single Canadian cancer survivor. Every Canadian I've ever known who had cancer sadly died.

Why did he say they don't have pennies? I work part-time as a cashier at a liquor store in New Jersey and Canadian pennies turn up in my till frequently. I once found one from 1943 with King George VI on the face.

Poutine? Yum! Can you tell me if you have the metric system why isn't there a metric time system? I'm thinking 100 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour, 100 seconds in a minute, etc. Did I just blow your mind?
@potato33311
@potato33311 7 жыл бұрын
The French actually tried that during the French Revolution (Revolutionary Time), but it was later abandoned. Don't quite recall why though
@iTzKneecap
@iTzKneecap 7 жыл бұрын
There isn't a metric time system because time isn't arbitrary like weight, distance and speed (to a certain degree). 100 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour and 100 seconds in a minute would mean one day would be 1 million seconds which translates to approximately 11 and a half days (sun up, sun down) which would make no sense at all.
@potato33311
@potato33311 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but you can change the definition of a second, and there can still be a base ten system. One new second would be something like 0.0864 of a current second.
@cabbagespinners6048
@cabbagespinners6048 7 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I just read more about this. You can even do like the French did and do 10 hour days. Noon would be at 5 and and midnight would be at 10.

"..a cold wet baby.." That sounds so wrong.. About bagged milk: How do you open the bag without getting milk all over you and the kitchen. The bag seems to be under pressure, that's why I'm asking. And how do you close the bag again? Or do you have to drink the whole thing in one go? I'm curious. -Greetings
@nobodyyouknow4977
@nobodyyouknow4977 7 жыл бұрын
so you have this jug kinda thing to hold the bag and to pour the milk, you open it by cutting the corner with scissors, you don't have to close the bag just keep it in the fridge. it actually works quite well!

What's with the hostility? My wife is American, I didn't have to explain Canada Day to her. Americans understand independence of all sorts not just their own country. I, as a Canadian, find that we are constantly fighting this moral battle with Americans and they don't even know about it. To be honest, this hostility is really immature. Stop with the stereotypes.

Not sure why so many Canadians think they're special for having universal health care..... Europeans, Japanese, South Koreans, and Australians enjoy having it as well.
@danielmarreviews3947
@danielmarreviews3947 5 жыл бұрын
Brad Lodovico it’s just because the US doesn’t have it. The US is virtually the only country that borders Canada, and since it’s a lot bigger and gets more attention, Canadians seem to always bring that up when compared to the US. I do agree however. Canadians really need to stop bragging about it. Other developed countries seem to have MUCH better forms of universal healthcare. Having a better system than just the US is nothing to brag about! And the system in Canada has a lot of problems too, like doctor shortages and wait times for elective surgeries and high prescription prices.
