Billye Aaron, the first Black woman in the southeastern U.S. to co-host a TV show, was initially inspired by a school principal who called her a TV star. She'd go on to co-host WSB-TV's “Today in Georgia.” In 1973, she would marry baseball legend Hank Aaron. She now leads Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation, which focuses on inspiring the next generation to pursue their passions and develop their skills.
