Neil's was way more impressive because the dude was 6'4" but only 190 lbs in his freshman year at college. So he went from a 190lb 4th place finisher in his REGIONAL high school wresting championship to a 270lb 2 time NATIONAL champion in division I college! Then he becomes a 2 time world champion in freestyle wrestling. And then as a walk on in pro football, he was too small & inexperienced. He was let go by the Pats & then the Eagles also let him go at tryouts. So what does Neil do? Just like after high school, he worked his ass off & gained 35 more lbs & became starting guard on the the greatest team in football history, winning 3 Superbowls protecting the greatest champion in sports history! Friggin WOW! Bill Bellichuk said he didn't think Neil would make it as a pro football player. He said Neil was the most determined & improved athlete he's ever seen! So he gets a one and only compliment from the greatest coach in all sports history as well. So there's really no comparison between the 2 in achievements other than their fame. Brock was an amateur wrestler who jumped on the new circus act bandwagon called MMA which was just a complete laughing stock and a freak show blood sport until a scumbag fight promotor named Dana White came in & cleaned up it's joke of an image, & then Lesner became a successful human circus animal for Jim Mcmahon traveling carnival.

@@flaccidego4291 greatest team in football history lmfao. never heard that one before. any time you hear about greatest teams ever its always like, the 1972 dolphins, the 1985 bears, or the 2000 ravens. Anyways regardless of your clear cut bias, it depends on how you measure success. If you measure it by fame then brock wins. If you measure it by money made then brock wins. if you measure it by who worked harder and improved more throughout their life then its neal, however that last one is a pretty unfair way to measure it because brock started out so much better so had much less room to improve. I think most people out there measure success by reputation/fame/money, which brock wins in all 3.

As much as everyone loves talking about steroid use. This dude was built to be a straight savage. Look at him even way back then! Or in high school. He’s no doubt a farm boy. People say this and don’t believe that shit, but I had a lot of ‘farm boy’ friends who were huge guys too. Not many kids work as hard as farm boys especially from a young age, and you can see how much all the physical labour does to you to develop man strength.

Agree 100% you are exactly right. I have been around gorillas and he moves just like one. Brock is truly a monster. For those who don't know...a male silverback is estimated to bench press 2000lbs. They will tear off another gorillas arm and beat them to death with it. When attacking animals they like to grab and rip off the genitals 1st, then dismember and eat them. I dont even think a polar bear would fare well against a silverback alpha male. They are 400+ pound killing machines with human like hands and big teeth.

I am bias, to say the least, but Brock made a career in MMA using only brute strength. Now I am not fond of just being stronger means better, but it does create wins, even against those I would consider better. Brock, in my view, wasn't a great fighter, heck I don't even consider him a good one, but his size and strength allowed him to defeat those with better skills in fighting. In a world of competition, the end result of a win, no matter how you get there, is better than a loss.
@tomdemay6147

i agree he wasn't as polished as an overall fighter but pure strength dont get you his amateur wrestling career. He is very good wrestler which is one aspect of MMA so I think that helps him even though his other disciplines might not be as strong.
