I want a DLC quest of finding Brok's last soul part to give Sindri the closure that he needs. He didn't deserve any of that.

Man... Despite Brok's "colourful" profane and choice of words, his actions was always so... -kind, gentle, and endearing... Even back in GOW4, when Kratos was going to Helheim, Brok was willing to go with him and help. Brok would gain NOTHING from that. Risking his life to Helheim and going to a VERY cold realm. Brok could also tricked Kratos and steals the Blades of Chaos but no. Brok truly wants to help. Despite missing a part of a soul, his big heart really makes up a lot of what he does not have... I respect Brok ever since but then... Things changed. Pouring out for you, Brok. Even if you are just a video game character. Doesn't change the fact, you made me feel something more alive than most of my own lone self.

That blessing really showed how much he knew Kratos. The spear was never a weapon for a warrior, it was a weapon of need for someone who wanted to leave war behind, and so he blessed it as a weapon to be put away when there was no more need

Playing the first 3 games, you noticed Kratos refused to bow himself to any God. Even when speaking to Zeus and Athena he remained standing tall, yet here he chose to bow down to Brok. Much like Faye, Brok was 'more than a God'.

Kratos did a nice thing for brok, he bow down and wanted a blessing from the best blacksmith he knows.

I really like the spear. As soon as I got the spear, I decided to use it as my main weapon of choice. Not because it feels nice to use, but to honor Brok. I'm gonna miss Brok and Sindri, those guys were my favorite blacksmiths.

I love how Kratos' method of comforting him was to, essentially, revere him as someone with unmatched skill by kneeling before him and asking for his blessing. It's a way of saying "I needed her to make it, but, only YOU can finish it"

What's sad, is kratos never got to tell brok how he got his blade of chaos and who forged it for him..

People are really underestimating Sindri. He fought through legions of souls to recover his brother. Then he fought through Asgard and crumbled their walls to get vengeance. He is a walking reminder of young Kratos. A mortal (albeit a Dwarf) punching way above his league because of sheer will and and love for his family. Mark my words if he comes back there won’t be a neat resolution like with Freya. He’ll be gunning for Kratos or Atreus as a villain.

Love how Kratos not only learned to care about people around him but also to visibly show empathy and sympathy towards them. Who would have thought the former God of Edgelords has a heart after all.

in the future, they’ll be a tales, a legendary tales about legendary weapon that been blessed by a legendary blacksmith that don’t have a part of his soul in him but the blessing is working. it would be a rare weapon among the legends. it might be called “blessing from the dead”.

A lot of people are misunderstanding kratos bowing down. Yes, it's character development. However, kratos refused to bow to the gods because he didn't agree with how the gods toyed with mortals like playthings. He understood brok was a good person, even without a good soul, someone who struggled and was still a decent person and the pain of loss he felt, kratos has felt with people like deimos and his family, I know what kratos did to his family. The point being, kratos saw someone struggling and still was trying to do right, even when they shouldn't have been able to.

When Sindri first told the story of how Brok died and he stole his soul back, i was shocked. Sindri had always been such a light hearted comedy relief character with a wholesome relationship with his Brother. Hearing such a horrific story come from his mouth was shocking. Seeing what Sindri is now is just scary, i feel so bad for him. Great character.

Sindri can blame Atreus and Kratos for Broks death all he wants. But it's his fault Brok won't have an afterlife.

I’d like to think Brok’s soul bits, without any direction due to his missing part, stayed with the Spear. Sindri, now familiar with Atreus’s “technique” he used on Odin and Fenrir, starts doing heinous things for the sake of research. They’re then reunited in a fight with Kratos…one way or another.

Mimir said there are 4 parts to a soul. Mind, Form, Direction, and Luck. And direction is what leads them to the lake of souls. We know Brok is missing his direction. I get why that'd deny him an afterlife in alfheim's light specifically...but where did the rest of his soul go? His "mind" and "form" seem pretty important based on their names. We see a lot of ghosts that are trapped on midgard and various other places in these games.. I don't get why this isnt the obvious line of questioning in the game and why they just immediately assume it means perma-death nothingness. So weird. Mimir straight up says "if there was anything we could do, we would be doing it" I get he's the smartest man and all but does he really know everything about everything? How hard would it have been for an after story side quest to fetch and collect all of broks scattered soul pieces and to carry them to alfheim? Maybe we see darkened sindri along the way? maybe the adventure and saving bits of his brother would gradually change him for the better? Seemed like the easy and obvious choice, instead of "nah he just dead. its real sad tho"
