That lady at the receiver shipper whatever it was took an awfully long time given those instructions. I'm pretty sure if I had that job I could get the information to the driver with a lot less words and do it just as effectively. Imagine how many times she repeats that every day.

Goulash is a stew containing potatoes and other veggies along with some kind of meat. Originated in Hungary. Had it a lot growing up. Very heart and filling.

Ghoulash is a Hungarian food dish. It is kind of like a really thick beef stew which tends to be heavily spiced with garlic and onions. There is usually also carrots, potatoes, and dumplings in it. It is good stuff.

The following is the recipe from my Hungarian grandmother (she tended to add garlic to everything anyway). Hungarian Goulash Serves 6 2½ lbs. Beef cubes Vegetable Oil, Lard, or Olive Oil 2 teaspoons Salt 2 teaspoons Pepper 2 chopped Onions 1 No. 2½ can of Tomatoes ¼ teaspoon Allspice ¼ teaspoon Cloves 1 Bay Leaf ½ cup Beef Stock 6 small Potatoes, pared Cut beef into cubes and brown in fat or oil. Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes. Cover closely and simmer about 3 hours or until meat is tender. Remove bay leaf. Add potatoes and cook until tender.

Hey bud, I’d check into seeing if BMW ever needs auto part expeditors! I work out of a large Toyota plant and the guys who do expedite make an absolute killing. If you can find who their primary shipping partners are, it can get you some reliable work. A lot of it is less than 2-300 miles round trip too!

I saw XPO on your load app. We used to get our beer loads through them. The folks at Miller Coors in Elkton, VA had signs we had to tape to the front of the trailer so the jockeys would recognize it as a XPO trailer. Once we (CPT) got our own deal with Miller Coors we still had to stick signs on some of the trailers and not on others. Eventually getting away from XPO totally and having a relationship with Miller Coors on our own.

Carry a small pair of binoculars with you. Works great for small numbers further away. I use it for HazMat responses so I can see the placards from a distance.

That armor all will make the rubber mat in the FLD shine nicely I used to do that in one of my pickup trucks and when other people saw it were amazed at how good it made it look!!! But a little slippery on the first couple of trips in it 😂!!!! You got me with the being black listed!!! I think it’s a great idea using the FLD for the local deliveries but if a far load pops up you’ll have to switch out trucks!!??

Justin your right about load boards they are terrible, I talked to a guy who comes into my work who’s a trucker and he is an over the road guy and he was saying how bad the boards are right now his trucking company is here in Strongsville Ohio but he drives all over the country and he said the farthest he has gone lately is Kentucky. He said no one is paying good for delivery’s, he runs a new Pete slammed with air ride all chromed out the inside is beautiful. He drives out to where you live to deliver somtimes if you ever see him give him a wave.

The fld won't get better fuel mileage pulling the dry van. Plus, no sleeper to relax on long runs. The Fld wrks fine doing local wrk. So, each trk has an purpose for specific hauling jobs.

Broker's can be very difficult at times, the one good thing I most Broker's probably know you and know that you're a good person and a great driver so they probably won't pay attention to the Broker that input that message saying do not use. I had that happen to me once in the 15 years of driving safe travels brother

Iam just asking cause I really don't know but the load for 2.91 a mile is that not enough to make a profit. Say diesel cost $4.50 per gallon and you get 6 miles per gallon so $2.91x6=$17.46 minus the $4.50 for the gallon of diesel leaves a profit of $12.96 for every gallon of diesel you use for that load. Is that not worth it. Also I know diesel is a little cheaper. Plus I only ask cause I really don't know and would like to know is all. I guess to me in a business profit is profit and for any new drivers or people like myself seeing you turn down a load and say theirs nothing out here, when for every $4.50 you spend you would get back almost 13 bucks profit that is def going to make some new drivers who see that miss out and I just think it's kinda misleading is all. Maybe say we'll 13 bucks for every 6 miles I drive isn't worth it but maybe it is for others instead of just being negative about it. I by no means any disrespect at all man, I truly like your channel and have been here since you started almost

Spot won't give any loads along with half a dozen other brokers because I have not been inspected at the weigh stations for the past 2 years. I say we start asking brokers if they had been audited by the IRS in the past 2 years and refuse to hull their freight if they havent

Both brokers and Prepass will use that "recent roadside inspection issue". Brokers won't use you without one and Prepass will stop giving you a bypass if you haven't had an inspection in a while. I argue that even if I get pulled into a scale its no guarantee that Ill get an inspection. Basically, in order to accomplish that you have to go to a scale or to Commercial vehicle enforcement and request an inspection or wait until you get lucky or unlucky depending on how you see it and randomly get pulled in for an inspection. My advice if you request an inspection would be to make sure everything is in working order...LOL. Prepass will give you a red light at every scale until you are inspected which defeats the point of paying for Prepass if you ask me.
