Exactly. He’s literally being judged as if he’s a first round draft pick. He’s a second rounder, 55th pick overall. There’s never been a player drafted at that level who scored in the double digits & was just an overall outstanding player. So, why are you holding him to that standard? Now, some people will respond to that question by saying, “Well, he never should have been drafted to the league. He’s not ready for the pro’s.” Did you know there’s been guys who were drafted in the league before him who had worst averages than him? For example, Peyton Watson only averaged 3 points per game while he was at UCLA & was drafted in the league in 2022. Mark Eaton only averaged 1.8 points per game while he was at UCLA & was drafted in the league in 1982. And there are others.

Fr fr alot of people don't realize it's a huge difference between college where you have other shit going on and basketball is a close second to basketball literally being your profession where you're given millions of dollars and the nicest facilities to be the best at. On top of that your competition is on the same elite level as well. That's why it's hard to fall out of the NBA if you're a sub 20 pt role player which I believe bronny will be.

The Kid really suffered from his Dad's antics. As for his 4-yeal full contract? Deserved. His Dad worked for that. His Dad's name and fame keeps the Lakers afloat after Kobe retired, so we can all just it as the Lakers paying Bronnie that high not only to keep him and his future, but to tie LeBron himself to the franchise even after he retires. LeBron should have stayed away from his son's draft process (that includes Klutch too).. so Bronny will play his contract out rather than being lax in summer league because he is already paid off the jump. Some people be saying.. If they were dads, they would also put their children in favorable positions to which.. they are wrong. Reserve the spot but let the kid work for it. It wont be as hard as you made it but there is still effort where others can still respect you and you show the world your game

He's literally under no pressure. He didn't have to do anything to get into the league. He has a guaranteed contract. The Lakers won't ever cut him. He has no pressure whatsoever.
