This was by far the best episode! They had alot of family time and good healthy activities and fun which keeps kids out of trouble. Keep them busy, and there is no time to get into trouble.

They may be strict by Swedish standards, but by worldwide standards, they are quite lenient. Actually, these parents are very reasonable overall in comparison to many others on this show. EDIT: Holy corn, cannot believe how many likes this comment got.

This family was - is - AMAZING!!!!!! They were strict but in the kindest, most CARING way possible - making the teenagers feel LOVED and REALLY CARED FOR. This is the ONLY episode i have actually enjoyed - This is what parents should be like!

The one thing I learned from this show is that kids want structure, they want to feel like they're safe because their parents are strong enough to handle things while still treating them with kindness and loving them. With the right partner, parenting can almost be easy.

This was an amazing episode, saddens me that they all live so far from eachother because Brooke & Mark really loved their new surroundings and the family. Great it got Mark motivated to work for his plane tickets back though 😂

this was good. They knew how to talk to the kids and hold them accountable. They tried to test the parents, but the parents knew how to get through to them when they did. Brooke thought she could play them, but learned quickly she couldn't. Good idea for the mom to decide to take something that she knew Brooke "couldn't live without". This is something parents should be doing these days with kids being so attached to their phones and video games.

Something about this show just isn't right. I feel like we're never getting the full story about why these children are acting like this. We never know what their parents are like and they are portrayed as perfect parents in every episode I've seen. We have no idea what these kids go through. I'm not making excuses for their behaviors but it drives me nuts that the parents are always the 'victims'

In the ones I've seen, the parents usually have issues, and are not any good at setting any boundaries. If you don't do that, when children are young, it's a nightmare in their teens.

More or less. I will say, after I turned 18, my mom and dad didn’t enforce any rules on me. Smoking, drinking, or staying out until 2 AM. It didn’t matter so long as I wasn’t injured or arrested.

I really like this family, They arnt anywhere near as strict as others but they focus on giving back the respect they are treated with, They treat people with the most respect at first but will very quickly turn deflect any lack of respect back at the kids making them feel the reasons why they shouldn't rather than telling them.
