I'm still not over the fact they didn't end up together. They had undeniable chemistry. I never saw the same spark with Brooke and Julian or with Lucas and Peyton . Lucas was the one Brooke NEVER stopped loving and I strongly believe that Brooke was the one Lucas loved the most. He chose Peyton because she just came into his life when he was most fragile and vulnerable. His love for Brooke was clear when he fought for her when they broke up. If it wasn't for Peyton messing with them both it would have been Brucas 😓❤️

Actually the reason why they didn't end up together was because Sofia Bush and Chad Michael Murray got divorced in real life so they kinda had to forced the Peyton and Lucas relationship and, as far as I know, Brucas were supposed made up and get back together after S4 break up but since they got divorced the change story

Okay, first of all, THIS SONG. Did you know this is my ultimate favourite song at the moment or is it just telepathic after all our years of friendship???? Seriously, I am so so in love with this song, you have no idea. Then the video. 'We drifted to survive' with the 'I wanted you to fight for me' was so so so smart oh my god. 'I needed you to stay' with the 'BROOKE I'M SORRY' (worst written dialogue EVER mark schawn), however so so heartbreaking and so perfectly timed with the 'I needed you to stay' lyrics. OKAY I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT THE SENTENCE 'ID MISS THE GIRL BEHIND THE RED DOOR' COULD MAKE ME CRY. That was when I started to sob. BUT THEN LUCAS'S FACE AT 1:02... You can see how much he loves her. And the fact that she FINALLY said 'I love you' at the 'can we surrender' part..??!!! SMART. This is like an intellectual piece of art. Okay I'm sorry, I could carry on for hours like this, but (BYTHE WAY HOW DID YOU WHY DID YOU START WITH THE FUTUREMOMENTS QUOTE, THAT IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE FUCKING THING ABOUT WHOLE BRUCAS), but I wwill just say thank you for this incredibly beautiful video, Kar. Thank you for our friendship which has lasted for the LONGEST time and we don't have to talk 24/7 to know it's perfect between each other.

I commented a week ago when I found this video and I've probably watched it 20 times by now. This video really shows their love for one another. I just finished the show and I found myself rooting for Julian and Brooke just because I love Julian's character. He's such a quirky but kind guy and he treats Brooke like the queen she is. I came back to this video though to get back in my Brucas feels and you've done it. Although Brulian is a great ending, they never had the chemistry that Brucas had. I truly believe that Brooke loved Lucas more but he was with Peyton and Julian treated her right and she just wanted a family already.

I do wish that actor never did what he did and we would’ve gotten our brucas endgame, they had more growth and depth. And the fact they didn’t end up together was in respect to Sophia. Yeah, he ended up being a tool who couldn’t handle her skill. A boy who wasn’t ready. Sophia bush can make anyone cry.😭💕

All right, I have always loved brucas with all my heart but people should start realising that there were thousands of reasons why they didn't and shouldn't have ended up together. They were toxic for each other, none of them let the other one really in and brooks trust in Lucas faded after the entire cheating thing with Peyton. Just because you love each other doesn't mean you are meant to be or good for one an other. Awesome video, really liked the song and scenes that you used.

I mean when Lucas dream to publish the novel came true he called Brooke so. Regardless if you break up with someone in the first night you still try and call and also end up in a relationship with someone else after and again continue to go after anyone but you thought you’re supposed to love and be with (Peyton)

I 100000% believed be this. Idk if brucas would've been endgame but they would've been together longer and probably had q better closure, s4 was so forced snd o ship Leyton too! Also Hilarie said in am interview a couple years ago that brucas + jeyton were the intended endgames.

In my opinion, I thought from the beginning that Peyton and Lucas were always the central couple in the show. Of course, Naley happened and sort of stole that spotlight, but regardless I think they would’ve still ended up together in the end. The cast know what their job is and what’s best for it so they would’ve been able to be professional and go with that if it had been the plan. Saying that, I do like Brucas and I really loved this song and video for them

yeah, there was an interview saying around season 2/3 brucas & Jeyton were endgame. which is pretty plain in the writing. I’m not sure if they were intended from the very beginning since Lucas/Peyton were the leads technically. but in the first couple of episodes I could totally see things that could point to a Brucas endgame. and I do think that if Chad & Sophia hadn’t split we would’ve had endgame, mainly because their breakup/Leyton at that point was sloppily written. and didn’t have much development.
