If you want to camp among wild bears in Alaska then this is the place to go! The entire campground is surrounded by an electric fence, but it's only bear-resistant.. not bear proof.

Thanks for the video. Very informative. Question, we are camping there in July, is there a place with outlets to recharge battery packs? How's the mosquito situation in July if we plan to hammock camp (I see lots of trees in the video). Is bug net and/or tarp needed?

You can charge your things inside of the lodge (limited outlets). Mosquitoes weren’t bad but the horse flies were terrible last summer. Really depends on the weather. I would recommend being prepared with a net and tarp!

Thanks for such a nice video .. do you have any videos on what to pack for this trip? I had so many questions like what kind of food should we carry or should we eat at the lodge? Where will get bear spray(can't carry it flight)? How to charge our phones and cameras?

You eat at the lodge. You don’t need bear spray. You charge phone and camera batteries inside the Brooks Lodge dining hall.
