If you can dream it, you can do it!
That was the life motto of Mister Stalon Ferrari, the former owner of a wonderful 19th-century mansion, that is nestled straight in the middle of a picturesque Italian Mountain Town. Stalon was a descendant of the Italian Ferrari family, he even had rather close roots to the world-famous founder of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari. He was a true jack of all trades, Stalon Graduated as an Accountant and worked in the field for many years, but after some time his father was stepping down as mayor and Stalon decided to jump on the opportunity and run for Mayor, and surprisingly enough he won the elections. After being mayor for many years, Mister Stalon wanted to change his career again, he went back to school and became a dentist. He finally found his lifelong passion and practiced it until the day he left planet earth. Mister Stalon didn’t live alone in his grand mansion, he also had a loving wife who took care of the many children they had together. In the year 1987, in the early morning mister Stalon passed away, he lived until the beautiful age of 90 years old. This seems to be also the time when the Mansion got abandoned, what happened to his wife and why the children don’t claim the house is a mystery that we will try to solve throughout this documentary.
Get ready to travel back 4 decades into Italian History.

For your young age you were born an "Old Soul"! I am impressed with your enthusiast appreciation for quality and craftsmanship. Sometimes Carpenters and Painters lived on- site for several years to finish these homes! Why you saw lockers and so many bedrooms.

Leslie, this house was quite amazing. The ceilings and the stairways are really something special. I’ve always love how they did their ceilings with such intricate designs. I’ve always wanted to see Italy myself but could never have any money to get there to explore it for myself and my husband feels the same way.

Simply gorgeous architecture!!! The ceilings, the room designs, the storage rooms & built ins were epic! With all of the children that this family obviously has, it was sooo very sad to me, that none of them have ever come back to collect the memories & memorabilia of this precious family 👍🙏❤️ It is such a shame to allow this beautiful place to deteriorate to this level of decay 😢😰😞 The structure was very well made & sturdy!!! It breaks my heart 💔 to see the ruin of this breathtaking, pristine property!!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful adventure with us Leslie!!! I truly loved it 👍🙏❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your respectful treatment of these abandoned properties. Those curved ceilings are called barrel vault ceilings. The more pointy ones have a gothic influence. I'm only guessing but the room with the tiny doors may have been used to prepare things like fillings. The refrigerated cupboard outside this room could have been for specimens that needed to be kept cool. Keep exploring.

Amazing Italian history. What beautiful, sweet history. I adored the triple stack stove, I have never seen one nor an upstairs kitchen. I love the antique washing tables too and the beds. The master was magnificent. You do a wonderful job describing what you see and showing so much. I think it's wonderful that we are able to see these places brought to us by our urban explorers, Expecially talented ones such as you, otherwise we would never realize what we are missing. I have always desired to to travel because of culture and people - I love and embrace each in it's own uniqueness. But now I have this vast appreciation for archetecture, I've always admired it but just seeing a place like this, so unique, beautiful and well preserved= the colors and paterns, fixtures and furnishings; each carving or painting made by hand is something entirely different. I can't imagine what it must feel like for you to experience it in person. Thank you for this video. I love it! Take Care, stay safe & God bless! xo Kat

Oh Leslie I absolutely adore this house! I so would’ve enjoyed seeing it when it was lived in and loved. It’s funny how some things are cleared out and other things are still there. And why did somebody go through and just trash all the books and papers. Very curious you got some great documentation of the family. Was really interesting. It appears as though Stalin wasn’t the dentist there was some other name. I do wonder if Enzo was part of this family. It’s too bad somebody can’t come in and take care of this place it’s not so far beyond repair that it couldn’t be restored. The bedrooms upstairs were kind of a rats maze. And one bathroom with a tiny little bathtub for the whole family. I found that very interesting especially as rich as they were. The architecture was outstanding and the paintings were beautiful. Thank you so much. We love you too. Wish I had loads of money to throw your way. Sending sweet vibes from California💜🤟🏻😎🇺🇸

What a wonderful wonderful mansion, the ceilings are works of art like a palace. The shapes, colors, designs. The built in staircase complete with a lion statue. The upstairs kitchen, what a wonderful idea, I suppose with a downstairs office the family might have done a lot of living upstairs, and the tile in the kitchen after all of these years looks perfect. Italian tile.

Heyy dear Lesley, What an amazing abandoned huge Italian mansion! - It was a pure pleasure to follow you through all these still quite well preserved rooms with these absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and ornate ceilings. Wonderful interior architecture, which has such a historical touch, because in some parts reminded me strongly of a museum. It's only such a shame and a great pity to leave it forgotton and decaying to pieces!! - I found it so very touching to see a lot of the personal items and memorabilia of the former owners just forgotton there forever. - I also loved the lovely background music, you chose, which underlined ideally the video. Additionally I loved listening to your narration, dear Lesley! You always give with your words only something like a new life to an abandoned location of that caliber. - Also your deep respect and sensitivity, you are showing during your explore, is every time overwhelming for me to see, my dear friend! - Stay safe, lots of blessings and many hugs! Peace and kindest regards.

Now you are also sweet & most knowledgeable when it comes to explaining the adventure thru the abandoned houses, mansions, castles! I was surprised at the dentist toothbrush...the bristles were much longer than the average toothbrush! Ok you pointed to the refrigerator that was small...But it was a ICE BOX, where a block of ice was brought to the home to keep things on ice! The ceilings & walls were unique, with the carvings! Thanks for the adventure into another unique abandoned mansion, in Italy!! Take care & stay safe! Love from Illinois USA

I don't hear very well, but you speak at the perfect speed, enunciate words clearly, and with a pleasant soft voice so I don't have to use CC, which is very important to me because I don't want to miss any details. Excellent!
