I've played this game for a couple of hourse now, and I've been struggling to beat danger 5 on generalist for a while. I'm sure I've had over 30 genuine attempts at this character on max difficulty, and I just couldn't break past wave 15. Then I watched your video, and I learned so much about what to prioritize in the shop at which point, and which stats gain importance at which stage in the run. I immediately boot up the game, start a new run, and after wave 10 I am ABSOLUTELY INVINCIBLE, and I beat the run without any trouble whatsoever. thank you for your insightful commentary, danger 5 now feels to me like danger 2 felt to me just a couple of hours ago.

SMG + Spear work great for this build. It gives tons of damage and good attack range, no issues with club push.

I just closed the game after losing in Wave 20 w/ about 40 seconds left w/ Generalists on Danger 5. Used SMG’s (added a Revolver late in the waves). Then used the Heavy Club (I think that’s what it’s called. It’s the big Thor’s hammer looking weapon). I used two Rocks alongside the hammer. Regen, armor, lifesteal, speed, and dodge was pretty solid.

Why did you leave Mastery?? the loss of ranged damage does not reduce melee damage as I know (I might be wrong) so this item would give you flat +6 melee with no addition or subtraction in ranged damage ‏‪18:19‬‏

scared sausage is stupidly OP with cactus clubs, why not get it?

Doesnt work, tried . Slightshot and Cacti cannot clear those armored and diving monsters.

Update: I FINALLY DID IT! 12/2/23 🥳 I’ll post my items, weapons and stats below. I learned to really complete these Danger 5’s, you’re gonna need really high dodge to not die from the bosses or elites. (I’d like to add I play on mobile. My brother has a steamdeck, and i’ve played it on there, and for some reason the mobile seems so much more harder!) Weapons: •2x Lvl 3 Slingshots •Lv2 & Lv3 Spear •Lv4 Shotgun •Lv3 (unsure of name, but spiked fist) Items: Gecko, Turret, (the item that turns trees into turrets), the handcuffs, the candle 🕯️, lemonade, cake, (item that adds crit range and attack speed but lowers regen 🥣), the cow skull, the shark fin, the mouth, the plant 🌱, medal, 2x muscle looking dudes, 2x porcupines, coupon, syringe 💉, leech, worm that adds dmg but lowers range, the extended mag clip that raises ranged damage, 2x bunny rerolls, 2x bees 🐝, 2x wheat 🌾, 2x tokens, duck, 2x mushrooms, (plate of armor piece that adds armor and takes away damage), 2x loot aliens, the brain that increases dodge, a tree, (the item that increases melee damage and heals upon dodging attacks), 2x butterflies, scar that raises xp, plus that turkey 🦃 upgrade for the update. Stats: Lv.23 Max HP: 83|82 HP Regen: 19 Life Steal: 8 Damage: 8 Melee: 87 Ranged: 43 Elemental: 5 Attack Speed: 32 Crit: 8 Engineer: 2 Range: 5 Armor: 7 Dodge: 53 Speed: 23 Luck: 6 Harvest: 56
