I’m a 70 plus yo white male. Military veteran. It’s not just black men that should standup for women, but all males should standup for them. Imagine they are your sister or mother, aunt or grandmother, because spiritually they are.

Watch the video again. The car she was in was at a stop sign, nothing was blocking her exit yet she chose to get out of the safety of the vehicle to argue with this irate man. All she had to do was drive away but she instead chose to step out of the vehicle to argue with a very hostile man putting herself, her unborn baby and the brother trying to protect her all in danger.
@kellyc4144 Жыл бұрын
To clarify, I am NOT justifying that man's behavior in any way! He was 100% in the wrong but she could have just driven away rather than stopping the car and getting out to get in a screaming match with him. We protect ourselves by getting away from danger not jumping into it.

Us black women have to understand this too. As a black community WE have to protect each other and allow our black men to protect other black women without getting upset and making assumptions that he’s messing with the woman or attracted to her. We are to protect our community by all means. Ladies allow our men do what’s right and help. We would want it if our man isn’t around to do it and would be grateful for it. Stay safe my brothers and sisters. Much love. 🙏🏽💜

If I was there, even as a white woman with issues, I'd have jumped in to protect her. My husband would have been right there to defend her.
