That was really nice of her. When I was 11 years old we lived in Japan which was in 1966. My sister, who is 5 years older than me, got 2 tickets to see The Beatles for her 16th birthday. My dad told her she can take whoever she wanted and she picked me! I'll never forget that.

A similar situation happened to me. When I was a kid my sister came home and walked straight to the tv I was watching and turned the channel. I changed it back then she leapt at me and clawed my face before running into the bathroom and locking herself in. Good times. What a sweetheart she was.

I surprised my sister with tickets to go see U2 on their 360° tour for the show in Nashville. We'd watched the DVD of the tour several times already and loved it. I was the terrible brother who treated my younger brother badly .He was the smartest of us, he was studying aboard but he couldn't finish his studying because of the depression. Then he returned and stayed home all the time playing online games. He has been living that life for about 5 years. He's never considered me as his brother and i've always blamed my self for treating him that way. He was a good, smart boy who could have a much better life if he had (or did not have) a better brother.
